I asked for scrabbled eggs but got over easy. She did put a new order in for my eggs. My husband didn't get his waffle. We... finished eating everything else and she gave us the bill. We still didn't get our missing items. After an additional 10 minuteswe finally received our missing items. She never offered refills or syrup for the waffle. Will not go back to this location whenvisiting. Read more
Dark toast with harsh brown Waffle house provided no waffle at lunch/dinner
Sausage was a little over cooked but other wise pretty good food. Customer service was good but some room for improvement. Menu... was a little sticky but nothing to really complain about if I'm being honest. Read more
In my travels outside of Jersey I've seen signs on the road mentioning this place and we were finally able to stop. The staff... here were SUPER nice!!! I mentioned it was our first time in one and I ordered the 2 Egg Breakfast with coffee. Our waiter wasso sweet, he gave me a waffle free. It didn't come with my order and he said "you have to try the waffle in a Waffle House"???????? Well, everything was good and I took the waffle home. Came in with ?nobody? inside. Not a patron. Not a worker*? just empty on a rainy night. Waited inside awhile thinking the door... can?t be unlocked with no employees just to see the only employee come out the back and say they?re doing take out only. Reallybad vibe and disappointing. Nice surprise! If you?ve been to any Waffle House more than once you know you have to usually lower your expectations... haha. This one in particular was actually very clean and the staff were very nice and pleasant. They even had old school r & bplaying to lighten the morning. N E V E R going back there again. I haven?t been to a Waffle House in a looong time and this experience was the perfect reminder... of why I don?t go there. The cooking stations were disgusting and I can?t believe I ate something from there. One of the ceilingtiles was a little perched open and I could see little specks of something falling over the fixings station. I don?t even wantto describe what was going on in the waffle making station, just take a look at the pictures. The most disgusting thing I sawwas an employee placing her hand and getting a paper napkin wet under the water faucet that was filling up a pitcher of soapywater that was meant to clean beverage cups. My first time at waffle house was a real treat! Haley was such a welcoming friendly server with a smile. She gave me great... suggestions that I otherwise wouldn't have known to get. I had a blueberry waffle, bacon, eggs over medium with onion andjalapeños, raisin toast with apple butter, and grits. All food was perfectly cooked (even my boyfriend's extra crispyhashbrown bowl).
