Some days, I get the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Some days, it’s like they don’t even know how to toast bread. I’m... always disappointed that their breakfast all day menu doesn’t include their egg sandwich. Apparently not enough room on thegrill? Buuut it does include avocado toast that has an egg option, so clearly their grill DOES have space for eggs. However, that’s at the owner’s discretion, and if they want to forgo income, that’s their decision. The 1 star is because I wasrefused an egg sandwich at 11.46. Missed it by 1 minute. Stupid me, taking precious grill time to ask what a cookie was. Thisreview has been a long time coming. After a year living in Belfast and coming here, I can say that this place needs to pay moreattention to their menu, managing their online menu better, and needs to do a better job of consistency in quality. Lovely staff, they were very communicative and friendly. Set an appropriate expectation about how long the food would take. Very... nice menu. Gluten free wraps for the win. Looking forward to coming back! Read more

I absolutely love this place. 1st time there and the coffee was great! As was the food and they allow you to order 1 pancake... and trust me it's big enough. Nice outdoor patio. I'm definitely going back! Read more

This is a cute place for breakfast or lunch. There is outdoor seating too. Service was fast and friendly. Knowing that we were... from out of town, our server gave us some recommendations for some great local things to do. When we asked for sourdough toast,we still had a choice of white sourdough, multigrain sourdough, or rye sourdough. We were so happy to have these extra choices. The food and drinks were tasty. The women's bathroom was clean, not sure about the men's room. They had food and drinksavailable for takeout. Read more

Finally a great sandwich! Very lean open face Reuben with plenty of meat. And a fantastic Pastrami & Swiss (add coleslaw)!! Menu... was loaded with smoothies and lattes and paninis. It was a little overwhelming, but I'm looking forward to returning and tryingsomething new each time. Plenty of desserts to take home ;) Read more

Belfast Maine is one of my favorite destinations in Maine. It's a beautiful town by the sea with many excellent restaurants,... Bell the Cat being one of them. It's my go to spot for breakfast and lunch. Not only can you eat indoors now, but you can alsoutilize the drive up window or pick up your food from the pick up spots outside. It hosts a beautiful outdoor seating area, with herbs galore growing about the tables. What's better than the smell of fresh basil and mint! And....you can even have amimosa or other alcoholic drink, what a plus for a Sunday brunch, or any other day for that matter! My favorite breakfast itemso far is the Eggs Benedict. Eggs perfectly poached, muffin lightly toasted and delicious home fries. Who could ask for more. The menu is extensive and one would be hard pressed not to find anything to eat. Large vegetarian, kids, fresh baked goods andcoffee choices. The staff was welcoming, and despite the busyness of the restaurant on this Sunday, food was deliveredpromptly. I will continue visiting Bell the Cat on every visit, and hope to try everything on the menu!!! Read more
