This place is located in Bell Gardens off of S. Eastern in a Plaza with other stores and restaurants. It has a pretty good menu... and the prices compared to other places are competitive. The staff was very friendly and helpful but service was a little tooslow. They offer a variety of seafood as well as combination dishes. I've picked up food from this location 5+ times. . . . every time I was satisfied enough to come back. I can't say that any... more. Ordered the Garlic noodles with Shrimp and a #2 combo with the Dungeness + clams and Shrimp. The noodles n Shrimp . . .had to pick out chunks of burnt residue. . . . . The combo. . . .Crab was OLD!!!, stopped eating it half way through the meal. .. . . the corn was all dried out(*Maybe they thought by putting it back into the mix that would rehydrate it, but that failed.. . . the sausage was half the thickness of previous orders. . . . the soup wasn't even soup, it was ALL OIL. . . . .previously, the next day, I'd mix the soup into rice and pan fry it with a couple of eggs(aka cajun eggs n rice. . . . $130wasted There are to many places that offer WAY better food for Half the money. I love this place but they always act up. I called to make an order because the website wasn?t working. A girl answered and said... she couldn?t take my call. 10 min later my husband called and she took his order. When he got there she started being sweet andflirtatious with him. Had a big family get together and tried out this Kickin Crab. They were super friendly and easy to work with and the quality of... the food was outstanding. Definitely one of the better Kickin Crab locations out there! If you have a chance I'd hit this spotup for sure. Read more
This review is from a month ago and previous times prior. I?ve been to this location a few times and it?s always something new.... First you can?t make over the phone orders, then try to order online, everything is ?not available.? Asked what was this about?once I arrived and now phone call orders are permitted. Ok cool! Next experience, I ordered food, got home and realized that thesauce was lacking. Left the food with the family (at home) and drove back to order extra sauce. Was told that I had to ordersomething to purchase it. I explained that I just ordered and left the proof (receipt/food) at home. Still was turned down. Evenif I didn?t place an order I think if you want to order sauce it should be allowed. I mean I didn?t want it for FREE! Ok lastexperience (about a month ago). Shrimp had the taste of the sea TOO FISHY! The sides of rice were mushy! And the the saucedefinitely wasn?t Cajun Extra Mild. More like SPICY SPICY! At this point I was over it and said that?s 3x I will NEVER do thislocation again even though I?m less than 10 mins away. This place is the best. If you been to other kickin crabs it doesnt even compare to this one. The place looks way better than... the other places. Great decor and design. Dont be fooled by how it looks on the outside. You'll be surprised when you walk in.Like the saying dont judge a book by its cover. The place doesnt stink doesnt smell its cool and fresh. The customer service isgreat. They work as a team and enjoy making their customers happy. The staff doesn't forget about you and checks on you. Greatcustomer service is hard to find these days. Thank you Lance and the rest of the staff for the great experience. Please tip thestaff they deserve it. The food is super delicious very well seasoned so much flavor it will have you licking your fingers.There is unlimited refills for lemonades and soft drinks. Here is the bonus this spot has HAPPY HOUR thats right happy hour.This is the only one that has happy hour food happy hour drinks. Beers and wines are $3 each for happy hour. This spot is alsothe only one that has garlic noodles and other food for happy hour. Come try it out you will not be disappointed. I didnt addany photos because i want you to walk in there and experience it for yourself. See it with your own eyes and taste it. The extra3miles the extra bit of gas is worth it.
