Our golf trip party of 8 enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Lakepoint on Wednesday night. Ashlee was our waitress and she was so... friendly, see my photos as in one I captured a perfect moment when she cheerfully brought out a drink for my buddy Tom. Ashlee'sservice and personality accentuated our dining experience. The drinks were great though a little slow because there was only onebartender. The food was excellent. Sincere thanks to Lisa and her team for the amazing wedding reception they provided for my daughter. The venue and decorations... were gorgeous - food was fresh, hot and delicious. I didn't learn until after the reception that one of our guests has a foodallergy and a special plate for provided for him on the spot. The service of this team was perfect. We had our daughters 16th birthday party here. The venue is absolutely beautiful and Lisa and her staff were amazing! They... decorated the room and added a few little fun surprises for the birthday girl. She even took all the guests out to take photosat sunset and took them for us! It was perfect, more than I could've asked for. Everyone enjoyed the evening with beautifulviews, delicious, food, and outstanding service from Lisa and her staff. I cannot say enough about what she did for us and howshe made that one of the most memorable nights for our daughter. She said "That was the Best Night Ever!" I'm an event coordinator with B. Jane Events and we had a wedding recently at this lovely venue. I am absolutely floored at the... level of service provided by the venue staff and even more impressed with Lisa's ability to handle literally everything thrownher way. This venue is gorgeous in itself, but the people running it make this a top tier experience! The team helped and did somuch work that our team is used to doing, that my work load was easily 1/3 of what I usually carry. They're amazing. I lookforward to many more events here!! We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary at Lakepoint with dinner and dancing for 62 of our family members and friends. There... are not enough stars to rate the experience. Everything was absolutely wonderful. The food was outstanding. The wait staffand bar staff were so accommodating and efficient. Lisa made the experience so easy and added extra little touches that madethe night so special. The cost was even lower than our expected budget. Can?t say enough good things about the experience. First words that come to mind are beautiful, relaxing and delicious! Brought my picky parents here from out of town to... celebrate mom's bday. They were overjoyed with the experience, as was I. They had the skewers with shrimp, steak, and scallops.My wife had the charcuterie board with a side of fried Brussels sprouts, and I had the Tennessee hot chicken sandwich. Everyoneloved their food, but mine was exceptional. The batter was perfectly crispy, the hot sauce had some kick but it wasn't tooaggressive or overused, the bun was soft as down pillows, and the (some sort of tomato jam maybe?) added just a touch ofsweetness and chew to offset the crispy heat. Oh, and did I mention that I nearly jumped out of my seat when I noticed therewere TWO chicken breast patties piled in that sammy! We sat out on the main patio as sunset approached. The view was beautifuland serene. Service was good as well. The only thing to keep in mind is that it gets really hot on the balcony as the sun setsbecause it faces west. While I was not impressed with the carbonara and the sweet tea wasn't sweet enough for me, everyone else in my group really... enjoyed their meals. Prices weren't unreasonable either. This review is about their Thanksgiving Buffet. It was basically gross. The turkey was processed turkey breast similar to what I... was served in college at my dorm cafeteria. Tasteless and dry. The stuffing was equally dry but tasted ok. No candied yams orsweet potatoes. The green bean casserole was weird tasting. The prime rib was tender but tasteless. The baked salmon was goodand the ham was ok if you like honey glaze which I don't. The smoked salmon and shrimp were the best thing there. The dessertswere fair. The pumpkin pie was weird with too much of something added (nutmeg?). The cheesecake was blah which I would notexpect from a chef from New York. The baklava was good. This was essentially a cafeteria style dinner which I would not expectfor this price. They should have baked real turkeys and served candied yams. I have had brunch and regular dinners here thatwere excellent so I would only avoid them for Holiday Dinners. Read more
