The Applesauce Inn is a treasure! I almost don?t want to write a review about how wonderful it is so that I can keep this... special spot all to myself!! But alas - the news must be shared! The Applesauce Inn is a beyond 5 Star stay. The attention todetail is high level from excellent communication, local recommendations, interior design/decor, etc. - nothing is missed. ChefJamie?s breakfasts are gastronomically out of this world! And did I mention?they also have special event Afternoon teas andseasonal evening dinners?? Squee!! It?s really just the best!! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Two kids caught up in grad and nursing school, and to be able to have a glass of wine while... finishing up some assignments to the setting sun and bird feeders is now one of my favorite memories. The breakfast wasphenomenal and the bed was comfy. Thanks! :) Read more

The genuine kindness of Jamie her husband made us feel right at home. Breakfast was off chart! Only fresh from the garden... ingredients and eggs from just outside door. It was not only beautifully plated, it was delicious. Arriving back each night, there was a yummy treat awaiting for us - Great little touch. The Inn was clean, warm, and inviting. Our bed was so comfy, it?sonly Jamie?s breakfast that lured us to the dining table each morning. This lovely B&B, innkeepers, and breakfast must not bemissed. It?s centrally located, an easy drive to Traverse City in the South or Petoskey to the North, there was so much to doand we made some great memories. Thanks so much for an over the top weekend! We look forward to our next visit to explore moreVineyards and the beauty of North Michigan. Muchas Gracias para todo! Jason & Sergio Taylor Read more

Wonderful B&B where we enjoyed "High Tea". The finger food and tea was amazing. All ingredients are local products and made... from scratch. I especially loved the tea and had to ask the name and where could I get some to take home. The hostess was sofriendly, very hospitable and attentive but allowed for some privacy as appropriate. I believe it is reservations only unlessyou are already staying on property. Read more

What an amazing first bed & breakfast experience! We stayed in the Sonora room and loved its charm and character. Jamie made... incredible breakfasts - I should have asked her if she?ll ship scones to Ohio, lol. The chickens outside were such a pleasantsurprise and we enjoyed watching the birds in the morning. When we visit Northern Michigan again, there?s no other place we?llstay. Thank you Jamie for the hospitality, and great conversation! Read more

Applesauce Inn B&B is always such a great experience near Torch Lake. This is our second stay here in 6 months! Very warm and... welcoming, and extremely clean! The rooms are so homey and comforting. Jamie (the owner/host/chef) offers farm-to-table homemadebreakfast recipes from their chickens and garden in the back and everything else comes from the local farmer?s markets in thearea. So fresh and delicious! The coffee/tea bar is a nice touch in the morning listening to the birds. They are close toShort?s Brewing Co in Bellaire and about a 40min drive to Traverse City. Jamie has a lot of recommendations if you?re looking toexplore the area! We will definitely be back! Thanks for a wonderful stay! Read more
