We like this place. This is our second time visiting Shoneys as a family; we went the first time for dinner and the most recent... time for breakfast. This is about as down-home West Virginia cooking as you're gonna get, and OK, I say that knowing nothingabout West Virginia cooking. I really found the buffet items to be very tasty. The food was good. A typical fare of good Shoneys buffet items. Service was fair. Not owing to the fact that the workers seemed... to be preoccupied with some internal management issues. I would like to return, but it would be under the assumption thatthey've treated their staff better. Read more
First time being to Shoney's in years, man things have changed here since COVID! Our waitress Jade was awesome and super nice to... my kids, she was totally great keeping the drinks full and checking on us. They only have the buffet bar and steaks to ordernow, I was really shocked that there was no menus or ordering of some of my old favorites. The food on the bar was decent butnot great. Maybe I'm just getting old but it seemed like I was in the Twilight zone with all the changes. I'll give it anothershot sometime, maybe it was because it was late that food wasn't up to par but we did have fun and the kids loved the buffetstyle meal. Read more
Stopped in with my family on way home from vacation and do not regret it. My son is special needs and would not eat much from... the bar. Our server Jamie went above and beyond to make sure he got his chicken strips and French fries ( even tho they are notoffering them at this time ) so he would be happy. Rest of the family had the bar and it is by far the best we have had. Storewss super clean and bathrooms smelled so clean. Our family will stop anytime we are in town from now on. Read more
New to area and wanted to give it a try. When we arrived the parking lot was clean and so was the inside of the store. They are... only offering the bar at this time but it was fresh, hot and a good variety. Seafood bar was great. Felt very welcomed by allthe employees and management. Our server was Hayley and she was perfect. Will be coming back alot more. Read more

The breakfast buffet is way too expensive for what they have for choices. There should be free coffee, juices, and warm... cinnamon rolls, and at least blueberry pancakes. And there should be choices of syrup flavors for $13 . Read more
