The closest Hoss's to me. Love going just for the salad bar. Love the selection of soups which change daily, the options on the... salad bar, and the dessert bar. Some times it is a hit or miss on how well the keep up with the salad bar. Our server was veryattentive. Food was quick and good! After the salad bar had to take my dinner home. Very clean and plenty of seating. Never await. Read more

First Hoss's really isn't much of a sea house as maybe when first originated, fish , salmon and crab cakes is all they have now... and the scallops they did have in the past were 2" pucks that we would always buy until they changed to 1/2" nibbles. Secondlythey used to pride themselves on purchases of the HHH County Fair purchases, well let me say this thier steaks are second gradeand full of fat and gristle. I used to love going here for a good steak but they now walking the path of the old Ponderosa SteakHouse Franchise. Cutting corners on food quality never works. Lastly and the reason for 4 stars and not 3. Obviously the saladbar... Although I've had frozen lettuce and fixings in the past on my last visit everything on the salad bar was fresh andinviting, soups were hot but what they did to the fresh breads is a shame, no more variety , what was a four foot area ofwholesome bread is now a 1 foot bread box. Service has always been great at this location but make sure to tell the waitingstaff to hold off on putting in your order or you'll sit down to enjoy your salad and have your entrée come out after severalbites. Hope you enjoy your dinner, Read more

Hostess wasn?t friendly. Our waitress was good. Salad bar is good but the ladies working the salad bar were rude, like you?re in... their way! If it weren?t for the customers they wouldn?t have that job. They presentation of the steak is lacking and you can?tget medium out of a steak that thin. Doubt I?d go again. Read more

One of the last Hoss restaurants around. The salad bar wasn't as large as I remember, very little hot food choices. But the food... was decent. Service was slow though. Read more

Delightful little steakhouse in the spirit of the bygone days of Ponderosa and Bonanza. A little pricey for what it is. My wife... had steak tips and I had a ribeye. My cooked perfectly to our wishes. Ribeye was as flavorful as a full fledged steak place.Soup, salad and dessert bar were well stocked with decent food. The only issue was some fruit flies dancing around the dessertbar and a few had got stuck in the fruit toppings. While they won't hurt ya, management should probably Google how to get rid ofthem. Not a difficult task and I'm sure pickier patrons would appreciate it. We were quickly seated and served. Food was outalmost as soon as we had finished our salad from the salad bar. The dessert bar is the only thing keeping this from a five starreview for me. 4.5/5. Read more

The food is great. More for your dollars if you get the soup/salad bar. In my opinion almost everything on the bar tasted good.... Loved the corn chowder. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for good eating but not spending a lot. Read more

Salad fresh from the freezer. 24.00 ribeye prepared rare, sent it back for medium well as I originally requested. Steak returned... tough as my daddy's church shoes. And.. Although we never complained it was all being served by Ms Brenda who only smiled or hadany type of dialect after receiving her tip. On a good note Mrs Rita the greeter was very sweet and welcoming!
