Food is okay. Dining room has not been cleaned (thoroughly) in years. Thick layers of dust in windowsills, ceiling (once white)... is dark grey from decades of cigarette smoke. Wallpaper peeling etc. Was once a really nice place, now just an old truck stopwith no truckers. Read more

Farmers Breakfast Bowl is a surprisingly filling meal. Reasonably priced as well. I was greeted the moment I walked in the door.... Big smile from Alaina, and quick seating at a clean table. Waitress, Rena, was on point, took my order and the food did not situnder some warming light. Eggs were asked for as Medium, and came out that way. Sausage gravy....really good taste. Really goodtaste. Rena kept my coffee filled regularly. Tables were cleaned off as soon as a customer departed. Met Christine as well. NowI see why things run smoooooth here. We were the 2nd table seated of 4 tables with 2 servers and a hostess. They "forgot" to bring 2 of our 4 drinks and then took 20... minutes to take our order. We waited until the 3rd and 4th tables (that came in after us) ordered and got their food to getours. When it arrived it was cold and undercooked. I stopped the server to tell her it was wrong and ask that it be fixed andshe asked if we wanted her to "put it in the microwave"? I asked to speak to the manager and explained my frustration, he askedif we would like it reheated or remade (we wanted it remade) and said he would take care of it. He returned a few minutes (5 orless) later with hot food (microwaved I expect) and said he would discount the undercooked burgers as they were clearly med rareand we ordered well done. He also said the burgers were undercooked because of the dye in the meat causing it to look cookedwhen it wasn't... I guess their kitchen doesn't have a meat thermometer. When the bill came he had given us about $5.00 off of a$57.00 bill. I feel that had the service been better and the food hot it would have been a decent meal for the price but thelack of effort by staff forces me to only give 1 star and say I would not recommend this restaurant or its food to anyone and Iwill not be returning...
