Server only checked on us once. Maybe twice. My husband's meal was wrong. He got the jalapeños mac n cheese burger or something... like that, asked for regular cheese. Came out with jalapeños cheese. She took the burger to have it remade and never brought itback till everyone else in the party was done. She stood at the kitchen door on her phone from what I could see most of thetime. Don’t love this place but also don’t hate it. We made a reservation last night at 8, the google service hours says they... don’t close until 10. The nachos were COVERED in salt, like pools of salt crystallized on the chips. Almost made my husbandthrow up, so we sent them back. Still got charged for the salt pile they call nachos. The loaded tots were good though. As soonas we got our food (around 8:30) they started putting the chairs up around us and mopping. I asked when they close and they said9, so maybe they need to update their hours? Food was decent, the goat burger is delicious. They gave me the wrong wing flavorbut they were still good so I didn’t say anything. Not a place we frequent because the service is “meh” and the food iseither a hit or miss, but not bad. Read more
My husband and I stopped in for my birthday dinner and a few drinks. I got the 8 oz sirloin with mushrooms and onions, garlic... mashed potatoes and a side salad. He had the 12 oz New York Strip with the same sides. To say the steak was the best that wehave had out somewhere in years is an understatement. They were both cooked and seasoned to perfection, Juicy, and so tender.The cook even came out to see how our food was. The portions were perfect as well and the potatoes were made with red potatoeswhich added a special touch. I had the 1800 watermellon margarita and it was so good as well. It tasted like a watermellonjollyrancher. Our waitress and service was excellent as well. My wife and I frequent a lot of different restaurants throughout Central Ohio. We have never left a negative review. We ate at... Iron City for the first time last night....food was greasy and honestly quite overpriced for the quality. We are accustomed todropping $50 plus for dinner for 2 with a 25 percent tip....we paid $33 last night for a $20 meal at best and that's beinggenerous. Our server took our order and never returned until the end of our meal when I managed to flag her down for our onlyrefill. On a positive note...great atmosphere. Read more

The food was good, but not great.. Beer was cold but not frosted mug cold, and a little flat. The service was great.. the... waitress was busy but on top of her game. Bathroom was dirty, and if you can't keep a clean bathroom then my guess is thekitchen has issues. Because keeping a bathroom clean is easy compared to a kitchen. Bellefontaine is limited on great foodchoices so I would still recommend Iron City.. The best restaurants is still 600 but you are limited to a pizza place. Read more
If I lived nearby, I'd be a regular here. Really, this place is a great spot to hang out with friends, eat some great food,... watch sports or music. I always eat steak which is cooked to perfection and taste perfect. The Mac and Cheese is also out of thepark. I've never ate a bad meal, not one. Great servers round out the experience. I come to the area several times a year andwould never miss a chance to stop into Iron City. Read more
