Ok, so after reading the mixed reviews, I thought I would try this place out. WOW! I went through the drive thru to order, the... lady was super nice and pleasant. Picked up my food and ate it there in the parking lot. The 3 piece chicken wad hot, juicy, andso delicious! I loved it!! You really need to open a place where I live in Youngstown Ohio. Great chicken, baked beans and Mac and cheese. Sweet tea and biscuit with honey and butter were the dessert.
We returned to Lee?s for some carry out and ordered two meals, a snack portion and 3 fried pickles. After waiting 25 minutes, we... inquired about our order. Word from the back was they were waiting on the pickles. Now, in my opinion, if there was a hold up bya side item and it was delaying the rest of the meal from coming out, someone should have given us an update before 25 minutes.As we watched orders continue to come out, we noticed that there were fried pickles on a dining room order that was placedseveral positions after ours. I thought perhaps they made multiple servings of pickles at the same time, so ours would be out inshort order. However, time went on and I approached the counter again and asked to speak to the manager. The timer on the screenwas now over 33 minutes. I pointed it out to her and she said I know. Not ?I?m sorry? or some sort of conciliatory statement oreven an offer of some compensation. I said this is unacceptable to have to wait this long. Nothing. So, I requested a refund andthey did it. However, I won?t get that 35 minutes of growing frustration for my family back and I did not want to waste anotherhungry minute. I hope things work out better for that crew, but I don?t think we will be back. Read more
