It's not amazing but it is above average. One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. The boneless ribs were delicious.... Quality-price ratio is pretty good. PS: Right now, they?re take away only, so the buffet isn?t happening for the time being. Read more
Very disappointing! There was no flavor to anything. Sweet and sour chicken was over cooked and we found a bone in it. Fried... rice had little to no meat in it. Lomein was alright, but again no flavor. Egg roll had almost no meat in it. For the price wepaid, I expected better quality food and my standards were not met. Overall: overpriced for mediocre food. I heard an advert on the radio for this place, with Mr. Lu having passed through Bellefonte for years, then finally decided to... stay and opened up the restaurant. Right now, they?re take away only, so the buffet isn?t happening for the time being. Nevertheless, the sweet and sour lunch deal with wonton soup was absolutely brilliant. We returned to Bellefonte recently to visit and went back to the Bellefonte Wok. We used to frequent this restaurant when we... lived in town to take advantage of the delicious buffet they offer. Today's visit was everything we remembered. Nestled betweenshops on Allegheny Street near the courthouse, the restaurant offers both order from menu options or the all you can eat buffet.There is great variety on the buffet but my favorites were: General Tso's chicken, chicken and broccoli, fried and slicedchicken breast in a peanut sauce, wontons and egg rolls and their green beans. They have soups like hot and sour, egg drop, etc.All very good! The service is good and efficient...they seated us immediately and invited us to the buffet right away. They werealso very prompt removing dishes when we finished. The food is consistently delicious and the owners take pride in their craftand you can taste it in every bite! You want bad, overpriced, Chinese than this is your place. I would've gave them 4 stars before but since COVID they're quality... went completely down hill. Won't eat there ever again if THEY paid me. DON'T DO IT! Read more
