Good: creative dishes. Bad: tastes meh. Pork belly sandwich did not render the fat. Meat was hard and dry. Tasted like it was... quickly grilled at very high temperatures. Truffle fries had strong truffle flavour, but even STRONGER SALT. Hard to tasteanything besides SALT. If the chefs take some of the feedback, I'm sure this place would be great to try again. Returning after Covid because I used to love the place. Nope, non GF except "maybe" the mains. I do like Brussels Sprouts but on... the menu as an appetizer??? Wanted a real cup of tea. Well served luke warm. Come on folks! Read more
Mediocre menu at best. To add insult to injury, they wouldn't seat a party of one outside because they "can't see tables for 1... outside in the patio". So you're telling me, that you'd rather refuse business and gamble that your table gets filled with aparty of 4 during non peak hours? Over-priced for what you're getting, truly. I went to The Lark instead and had an amazingexperience. Alex, one of the co-owner was hospitable and did a full introduction of the menu for me and crafted and excellentexperience. They are not taking reservations at this time so you have to wing it first come first seated. We were seated and sat there for... 15 minutes while I watched staff by the bar talking with each other and checking phones. I always give them the chance to noticeus at a table. Nope had to go to the bar and ask if anyone was serving tonight We ordered the salmon special and a fantasticappetizer. The appetizer was a crb thing and it was great. The salmon arrived and it was completely raw in the middle we sentthem back and they cooked us 2 more. It was great. Read more
