We always enjoy dining on their patio in the summer , we go there a lot when on our boat. One of my favorite dishes at The... Boathouse is the seafood fettuccine, always nice amount of sauce, shrimp, mussels and topped with 3 good sized scallops thedish could use more parmesan cheese on it...I love cheese, but other than that the pasta dish is done beautifully also I enjoygetting their bacon wrapped scallops, they are so delicious always cooked perfectly. I also like to get their seafood chowderwith an order of cheese and chive biscuits to dip in , the chowder is nice and thick and creamy with seafood in every bite. Theservice we receive is wonderful the girls are so friendly and the view on their patio is beautiful . Sorry I indulged in somebefore I took the photos. Definitely a great restaurant to stop in when you are in the area. Read more

Had the seafood chowder and maple glazed salmon. Both were tasty and well prepared. Service at the bar was on point and... attentive. If I'm back in this area again, I'll definitely be back to try another item on the menu. Read more

The food was fresh and delicious. I did not like the texture of the clam chowder, it was a bit lumpy, but the taste was good.... Unfortunately the decor was not too good and there was water dripping on the table (some condensed water probably from the AC).The servers were kind, but clearly inexperienced. The place needs a bit more love and better management. Read more

Great Food, and an even better view from the Patio, if your in the Quinte area on Vacation summer or winter this is a great... place to stop. Dock your boat and walk on the patio and in winter there is plenty of ice skating on the inner harbour. Daria ourwaitress took really good care of our table. Read more

There's more than one Boathouse that's become a quaint restaurant with a waterfront view. This spot in Quinte/Belleville is no... exception! After exodus from the big city, we arrived here for dinner noticing it was quieter than usual due to the earlierrainstorm & gloomy weather. It was pitch dark outside but a perk was that we seated into a spacious corner booth to enjoy anintimate family meal. Seafood is aplenty on the menu to align with the Boathouse theme. The Haddock New Orleans was an inspiredattempt at flavours of the French Quarters with fish blackened & topped with abundant shrimp on creole sauce. It was lightlyspiced with mild herb flavours. Instead of just fish & chips, we also tried the Captain's Feast with crispy breaded scallop, extra large battered fish fillet & coconut shrimp. With heavily fried food, we only dented into half of the feast! For kidsmeal, the Pasta Alfredo was quite plain in both taste & appearance, but did come with a cup of juice. Of course, you can't havea seafood feast without chowder! It was sadly forgotten here till our meal was nearly done. An energetic waitress kindlyapologized. The miss was no big deal, except chowder ingredients (shrimps) were cooked till mush. Better to stick to fish &chips! Hard to tell if this soup was just an end-of-day scoop. A summer lunch visit would certainly be more ideal at this localfavourite. Read more

Amazing food and very accommodating. We showed up with our new puppy and 6 month old baby, they promptly set up a space for us... on their front patio. We had a private dining experience all to ourselves. Even though we were the only table out front and itwas very busy, our waiter was amazing and so attentive to our needs. Read more

First things first...Amanda you were amazing!! Thanks for your excellent service, recommendations and patience with us. Visited... the city today and someone recommended this local restaurant. The biscuits literally melted in our mouths. A must try! Weordered the Captain feast with a side of showder and sweet fried potatoes and the New Orleans haddock with same sides. Orderedanother plate of coconut shrimps just because!!! Everything was perfection! It was too cold to sit outside but the view was sonice. A beer and a white sangria to go with the meal. The swans swimming outside added such a nice touch and the music andambiance in general made the evening special. When we left it was pretty crowded but when we arrived before 5pm was not so bad.
