I ordered the wings and fries with a side of gravy. The meal portion was absolutely disgusting. 16 regular cut fries, there were... 7 wings all smaller than my index finger...definitely less than a half a pound. The gravy was literally as thin as water with aremote taste of beef gravy. As soon as the plate was set down I questioned the price of the meal. I could tell the server wasvery uncomfortable. He assured me it was a pound of wings amd promptly tirned and waked away. I should have walked the extra 100meters to Piper arms or 25 feet to pizza pizza. Not sure of their other portion sizes. I took a picture but am not beingprompted to upload. I definitely cannot recommend. Read more

Got a hot turkey sandwich on Uber eats & it was absolutely disgusting. Bread was out on top of vegetables which made it soggy &... it only comes with one piece of bread. 2 tiny scoops of mash potatoes & veggies were nasty. I asked them if they could remake it& id pick it up but they wouldn?t even do that for me. Wasted 30$ on nasty prison food. Read more

Just bad all around. Service was terrible (no smile, waited for 55 mins for our meal, didn?t check once during our wait if we... would like another coffee). Asked if they could Serve alcoholic beverages since we had been waiting and was close to 12, serversaid no. Asked another passing server she said they were. Okay!! Everyone in there was looking at the kitchen. I orderedbreakfast, he ordered liver and onions. His meal came waited another ten for mine. The toast was dripping, literally withbutter, potatoes so so so salty and oily, sausage cracked they were so over cooked. Eggs were fine. Liver Was okay, mashedpotatoes were cool As server you should should give a quality check on your tables so we could have an opportunity to have themeal fixed. No service at all just a table, no smile, nothing to redeem We came in from Tweed. Needless to say we won?t be back.Wasn?t what it was or should be. One more suggestion. If the wait is more than a half hour to 40mins, let your customers knowand so they know how long they will wait. No one minds to wait if they know. But quality and lack of service makes a statement;and hell, if you want a Caesar and it?s after 11:30 they should serve them if they are licensed, after all it?s a Sunday. Ordered a milk shake, hamburger and fries. The hamburger was nuked, the fries were out of a bag and nuked , but luckily the... shake was o.k. . Doesn't anyone use a grill any more? I guess I'm just getting tired of heated up food which was cookedsomewhere three days ago. Read more

Beautiful restaurant with great staff and food! I would recommend you bring your older adult relatives here because the older... decor can cue some memories from their past. The food is really good, they offer all day breakfast, lunch and dinner. We canchicken wings for breakfast! The staff is always the same and they are super kind! The food is also great. Wimpy's Diner has been in the North York area for several years.
