Sadly several things were unavailable. The chicken was not good, but very stringy. The waitress did a good job keeping up on... drinks. It was a little uncomfortable to have a female employee cleaning in the men's room while it was full of customers tryingto use the facilities. Read more

Very slimmed down menu. Many of the favorites are no longer available. Estimate 60 to 70% of the menu is breakfast items. My... Chicken Fried Steak tasted like it was prepared in old oil. Yucky. Pancakes were obviously prepared on a dirty grill bc of allof the extra crispy edges, black bits and the distinct taste of sausage. I'm sure the long wait for food to be prepared anddrink was bc they were short on staff like everywhere else. Totally ran out of coffee and had to wait 15 minutes for refills.Waitress couldn't really give good service bc she was spread so thin. All in all, bc of the hefty hike in price and the qualityof food, it will be a while before I'll return. Not a good value. Read more

Sorry, if I could give a zero I would. So my wife and I stop in the Village Inn restaurant in Bellevue Ne. with our two young... grandchildren on Sept 15 at 2:00, in the afternoon, the morning rush was long over and only two people in the place. Firstthing I notice is a table full of dirty dishes and glasses still sitting on a table from the morning, I mean like they bussedsome tables and just left them on a table, and the floors where full of spilt food. The hostess did not even over us a boosteror a high chair for our grandchildren we retrieved them ourselves, they where sticky and who knows when the last time they wherewiped down. All the hostess did the whole time we where there is sit at a table an mess with her phone and eat. I got to therestroom to wash up, paper towels all over, the place was a mess, I could see if there where busy but they where not, theyhad plenty of time to touch up the restrooms after the morning rush, I am saying to myself what is the kitchen like if the restof the place is a mess, upon walking past the kitchen I could see everybody is hanging out in the kitchen like it was a party, including some guy with shoulder length hair that was surly not a employee, as far as I could see no one was wearing a hair net.Upon seeing this I chose not to get nothing other than ice tea. My wife opted for the BLT, to no surprise to me, uponarrival a gross long blond hair hanging out of the sandwich, we all have dark hair so we where sure it wasn't ours. We sent theBLT back and opted not to get a replacement and asked it be taken off the bill. If these are franchised own, the owner betterclean house. This also makes me apprehensive about visiting any other Village inn. Read more

We eat here pretty often - once every 2-3 months. They are always helpful, the food is all prepared, and if there's ever a... mistake with the order, they always fix it right away. We ordered take out from them tonight and like always, the food was goodand warm, and the service was great. Read more

Delicious breakfast options and the pies kick butt! Highly recommend the french silk pie or the banana cream pie!
