We went here for Mother's Day a few months ago, and this restaurant was the perfect spot to celebrate the occasion. From the... furniture to the table settings to the waitstaff, the attention to detail was impressive. We were so enamored by the beautifuldesserts on display that we wanted to have dessert served before our entrees, and they were able to accommodate us. The atelierhad a cozy but upscale ambiance like you would find in Europe. The prices weren't too bad given the downtown Bellevue location.Given their small space, I would recommend making a reservation. Read more

The decorations, ambiance, and overall fit and finish is very pretty. There's an obvious attention to detail here that adds a... special touch to everything from the cutlery, tea sets, and everything else. The food is incredible too. Each of us got: 3sandwich slices, 1 scone, 2 macarons, 2 dessert, and all the tea you could possibly want. Tea selection from around 12 differenttypes, including 4 decaf options. Price wise it's not bad comparing to other places we had visited in the past. So yes. Come! Read more

Would rate the food a C-, would be a D but the chocolate cake was good. 60$/person, automatic service fee. Had a 215pm... reservation and at 245pm the server told us we had 15 min left, not that we wanted to stay any longer anyways. Tea was also verybland. Very disappointed would not recommend. The lavender macaron tasted like a bath bomb. Read more

Expensive but it was cool experience with my girl. Tea options could be improved, service can be improved if they are asking 20%... service fee. Just do as brunch as afternoon tea, it is quite a lot for desserts. Read more

I've now been here twice, once for dessert and another for the sparkling afternoon tea. This place is one that is particularly... outstanding for its presentation and experience. The table settings and food are crafted beautifully, to a point where I wouldsay it's one of the top five destinations for foodie pictures in the Bellevue area. I wouldn't say the taste is particularlyextraordinary, and I was disappointed with the cakes included in the afternoon tea. However, the tea sandwiches weresurprisingly delicious, and the scones were to die for. Their nitro ice cream isn't heavy on sugar, and some flavors are a lotbetter than others. To conclude, I would say this is a perfect place to go for a date or a girl's night out. Read more

I hosted a high tea bridal shower here, for a group of 15. It was difficult trying to get details from the owner, as she wasn't... the most responsive - I had to chase her down multiple times to get information, then it took several more attempts to get ahold of her to secure our reservation and pay for the deposit. Even though I wanted to look for another space to host the showerbecause of this frustrating experience, I stuck through with it because the place and high tea looked absolutely gorgeous. I'mgiving this place two stars for the beautiful ambiance, delicious high tea, and mostly excellent service we received. But thereason why I'm giving a lower review is because in addition to the initial frustration of securing our reservation, we ended upbeing charged quite a bit more than what I was initially quoted. I was told it was $45 per person. When we got there and ourserver started to take our orders, I overheard her asking the first guest if she wanted champagne with her high tea. Little didI know, that resulted in changing every single one of our high tea orders to their sparkling high tea version, which ended upbecoming $60 per person! I was incredibly frustrated that happened without any heads-up - that's not okay to up-charge a largeparty like that without letting the host know, especially seeing as more than half the party ended up not even drinking theirchampagne because we weren't there for a boozy high tea. I still recommend checking this place out because the food wasdelicious and it's a beautiful spot. I just don't recommend hosting a larger event here because it's like pulling teeth andherding feral cats to secure the reservation and then you may end up paying way more than you anticipated (the additional $15per person adds up quickly for a larger party because you're also charged a service fee). We arrived before our reservation time for afternoon tea but waited at least 15 minutes passing our reservation time before we... were seated. It said that we have 90 minutes but we were asked to leave shorter than 60 minutes not to mention we were seated 15minutes passed our reservation time. The sandwiches were mediocre. Sandwiches bread were too dry. One sandwich was smoke salmonwith seafood salad, one is chicken salad sandwich, and the other potato salad sandwich. Deserts are ok. Afternoon tea costs $45and a mandatory 20% service charge which is $54 per person. Plus 10.1% tax on $54 which makes it $59.5 per person. For thequality of food and service we received, it is totally unworthy. I don’t recommend this restaurant. Read more

Terrible service, alright food, cute atmosphere. They’re very strict about the 90 minute seating, but service is extremely... slow. It took 30 minutes to get our food. Our tea was cold by the time our food was served. They also don’t leave your teapotwith you and don’t keep your tea warm in the back, so you end up having cold tea poured into your cup towards the end of yourseating. The tea itself was nothing special. Their scones are made fresh daily and were the best part of the service. Theyrushed us out, which was annoying given how slow they were to serve us. Either make the time slot for afternoon tea longer orclean up your kitchen operations so it runs smoothly and efficiently. Read more
