The service was great but when we came one Saturday night, they completely messed up our drinks order. Mai tais should be an... easy drink to make. Mint as one the main ingredients, yeah they completely left that out! Our party was a little too nice andnormally we will just let it go but if you're paying for a pricey drink at Tavern Hall, you'd want to get what you are payingfor. We came here for dinner the Saturday before Christmas and it was extremely busy. 45 minute wait when we got there at 4:45 pm. We... know how busy it was, but the service was still extremely slow. Took about 15 minutes just for someone to come take our drinkorders. Our waitress came by multiple times to apologize. I ordered the strawberry lemonade and it was pretty watered down.Tasted more like lemon water in my opinion. For an appetizer we order the soft pretzels with all the sauces. One pretzel wassoft while the other was more tough. We still enjoyed both. For our entrees we got the spicy chicken sandwich, shrimp and gritsand the kids grilled cheese. Everything tasted great! Our party of three arrived just before the dinner rush. Tavern Hall has a very comfortable, classic, pub feel to it. We had a... classic burger, a flatbread, shrimp & grits & drinks. The food was good, but lacking the wow factor that takes it next level. With particular regard to the shrimp & grits, as a dinner entree, the portion sizes could have been bigger.
