The last few months have been hit and miss on the soup consistency. Sometimes great and other times seems over cooked, but... decided to get take out Tuesday since it was cold weather. This hit the spot! Ordered 2 pounds to take home. I try to order thebroth without extra garlic or anything. This time around it was terrific! Fresh ingredients, the broth was not too milky orovercooked. It can be pricy, but if it\'s good, it\'s worth it. I reheated my leftover the next day and it was stilltasty.\nPerfect to eat in this freezing weather. Read more

Parking : plenty of space in the parking lot. Though on Friday\'s this area gets busy so you might have to park on the... street.\n\nSpice level: the level is 1-3. I either get 1 or 2 for the beef malatong. The other option is tomatoes. Level 2 ismore numbing. I don\'t break a sweat when I get level 2. I can handle aardvark habenero hot sauce and extra hot hot cheetos noproblem. I find spicy popo more spicy than this place.\n\nhow it works: you sanitize your hands, grab a bowl and a pair oftongs. You will then fill up your bowl with whatever you like for $14.99 lb.\n\nThere are two fridges that you grab food from.First one is mix of tofu, Chinese sausage, ramen, noodles, fish balls. The second one is more mushrooms, seafood, lamb andbeef.\n\nThe next fridge is skewers which are price like $5-7 depending which one. Then you pay . Water is self serve. You willget a number. They do not call out numbers in order. The numbers are also on the display board.\n\nFree toppings are peanutsauce, spicy oil, sesame oil, cilantro, green onion\n\nDon\'t overfill! You don\'t need 10 pieces of bok choy, 3-4 will do. Ibeen here multiple times and get full under 1lb easily.\n\nNot the most environmentally friendly place ( paper cups/ disposableutensils) Read more

3.5 with no rounding. The taste of the base are definitely okay but the price are definitely not pretty and the freshness of the... food ? can be improved? The most fresh material is vegetable and it?s kinda like Walmart level? sad Read more

Long time ago, I used to went to a store which service this hot pot that could pick by yourself. Unfortunately it... closed.\n\nAfter noticed going to open one in Bellevue , I was really excited, and did try 3 times(including Seattlestore).\n\nEverything is 14.99/Lb, and there is Kebabaki at Bellevue store, and just only having beef broth here for now.According to the shopkeeper, tomato broth will be coming soon, maybe next month.\n\nTheir beef broth that I like is reallycreamy, tasty, and no MSG I think cuz not feeling thirsty after drinking.\n\nI did tried their tomato broth at Seattle store. Ilike beef better, even though is taste so good too.\n\nI picked the radish this time , I think it cut too thick. It cooked well, but not soft enough for me. Read more

Ordered beef soup base with extra spicy.\n\nQuite a lot of options of meat and non-meat food. The sausage tastes very good. I... picked rice noodle and they cooked it to the right level.\n\nSoup base is spicy as I asked for it but a bit too much of chilioil and garlic. As I eat to the bottom, the soup base some how got bitter. Other than that, I am pretty satisfied with themeal.\n\nThis is a renowned brand in China and my experience matched my expectation.\n\nOne suggestions:\nThe woodear theycurrent use is too easy to tear apart. They were already in crumbs when served. A change to a better type would be good. Read more

Newly opened northern China style Malatang restaurant, with fresh ingredients and authentic soup base. Interior design is... simplistic. Their malatang is very good, with rich flavors. I think it is actually better than their UW store. Their skewershowever, are just average, and portions are quite small. If you want better lamb skewers, try Happy Lamb instead. Read more
