I visited Devlin's with my wife and had the fish and chips. The fish was awesome and took up almost the entire width of the... plate and it was not a small plate. It came with fries and coleslaw. I asked if I could get half fries and half onion ringswhich they agreed to with no issues. The special order cost me an extra $1.25 which was no problem. My wife got the haddock wrapwith a gluten-free wrap. There was music playing, but it was not overbearing. We were able to have a conversation with notrouble. The service was professional and friendly. I gave this establishment a four star, because there wasn't anything specialabout the tavern. I swore I would never return to this place but I went Saturday night to support a local band. I now have mixed feelings my vote... used to be 1 star. So on the band side of the bar the blonde woman with the chest tattoo was awesome!!!! The guy working alongside her SUCKED! He should job shadow her and learn something! I only wish I could have tipped her and not him. He literallywaved me off twice only to serve what looked to me like people he knew. If I go back here I will definitely be avoiding him sothat I don't lose my cool and openly tell him aloud how much of a terrible bar tender he is and then will proceed to hand theother bar tender a huge cash tip for them only! Great food, great beer, great staff. The atmosphere is great except for it being a bit too dim. I'm partially blind so this was... a minor problem. I wasn't sure if I was playing footsy with my date or my friend since it was too dark. 3/5 stars (wouldreccomend the Irish Nachos, but the waitress was Italian so I was confused.) Read more
Great locals pub. Food was perfect for a casual night out. Wings, burgers, potato skins, nachos and wraps all tasty. Plenty of... beers on tap and hustling servers taking care of everybody. Keno, scratch ticket machines, and large tvs to watch sports. Thebest part was a spacious back room with darts, pool tables and another large bar. Devlin?s didn?t skimp on entertainment. Theyhad a talented band so put together you would expect to see them in large venue in Boston. Shocked to see such talent in a localspot. The band was incredible (Honeybees). The poorest restaurant experience and I never even got food. That?s because the Friday evening blonde bartender decided I wasn?t... worthy of serving or even acknowledging I was there. She continued to serve seated ?regulars? without even saying ?hello? or @be with you in a minute?. She topped that though- rattling off a list of beer on tap to people behind me while staring at me Ifyou aren?t a regular, don?t go. I went up the street to Gummy?s and the wait staff was amazing. Meatball grinder is really one Meatball sliced thin on a roll the equivalent size of a small grinder if that, It said comes... smothered in marina. Mine came dry. Husband got nachos with chili. It came with a tiny bit of chile to had to searchfor. Bartender was very nice. Read more
Went out for drinks and food with a girlfriend of mine. The pulled pork sandwich was phenomenal. Our server Courtney was also... great! Such a doll. We had a great night and will definitely be back! Read more
