Between the waitress, hosts and other staff they were all so caring and pleasant. I could not believe every single person we... interacted with seemed genuinely happy to be there. I'm not sure if this is good acting or because of a good work environmentbut it was really impressive and felt great! The food was very good and not too pricey. Highly recommend this outback!!! Tonight we went to Outback in Bellingham. The food was delicious, steak done as requested, potatoes were hot, salad... crisp. Unfortunately the service was really lacking. We sat at the bar, it was not busy, servers standing around by kitchenwaiting for customers, two bartenders. We ordered drinks, before we had those drinks, or ordered our dinner, a server asked ifwe wanted bread. Well, I guess not, let me have my drink first please. Husband ordered a beer and given a choice between 16 or22 oz. Requested a 16 oz. Got a 22 oz. Oh well. Salad and dinner arrived as ordered. No one inquired if our meal was okay. Finished dining and check appeared, no one asked do you want another drink, how about dessert? Nothing. An evening out reducedto one hour. We'll go someplace more welcoming next time. Read more

It has been a good decade or more since I've been to an Outback Steakhouse. Walking in, it isn't as aggressively faux-stralian... as it used to be, with the "way too much stuff on the walls" pared down to a few "visit Australia" and "this is a burger" typeart. Long and short- the theme is dead and it just feels like any other chain restaurant. That said, it is comfy and niceenough. Its atmosphere meets modern family dining expectations. I was greeted after waiting around for a few minutes, thenseated in a booth. I love booths. Like, with a passion. The host took my order since I knew what I wanted, and my waitress cameby afterwards offering bread. Why yes, I would love bread. It was that sweet dark- maybe it's pumpernickel- bread that theyalways had and it took me back to sitting around in the same restaurant, cutting bread and chatting. Back then, the Drover'sPlatter had steak, ribs, and chicken. Sigh. I remember then... Anyways, I wasn't here for memories. My parents' dog got me agift card for Christmas, and by gum, I was here to use it. Plus, I was here for something different. Double plus, my Mum keptsaying "you can get a bloomin onion." Well, one person is no match for a whole bloomin onion, so I went for the next best thing- the bloomin onion cheese burger. I got a potato with sour cream instead of fries. I was starving after a long work week andway too much exercise, so I also decided to get a cup of the Tasmanian Chili. I figured I might as well do it up big today. Thechili arrived first, and it looked great. However, it just kinda tasted like fancied up Hormel. Or maybe that Stagg brand chilithat used to come in a box. It wasn't inedible, just not thrilling to eat. I think that the Brisket Chili from Gotta Q ruinedbeanless restaurant chili for me forever. In quick succession, my burger arrived. I wasn't even halfway through my chili. Noworries though, because I arrived with a plan. I read the menu ahead, and I ordered what I ordered so t Read more

The food was delicious! The server was a respectful man named Pedro, we came from Framingham as a 5 person family and we we... thrilled to have this amazing experience. Not only does Pedro speak English but as a Brazilian family he spoke Portuguese tomake us feel more comfortable and safe in this environment. He served as fast and met up with all our needs. We came in on a Thurs night and got seated pretty quickly. Our server Brianna was very courteous, cheerful and hospitable. We... started off with the Boomerita, which is a margarita sampler. Definitely recommend the mango and blackberry margaritas! Forentrees my wife had the filet mignon, which had freat flavor and a perfect medium rare. I had the 16 oz prime rib steak, and itwas honestly too big to cut on the plate (without sliding off the Aussie fries), so I needed a separate plate just for that! Butwas not too happy with my steak as I began cutting to find the silver skin was not trimmed off already. This sort of downed myappetite a bit to be frank. The taste was just ok as it had been over-cooked past medium-rare that I had ordered. I decided tojust take most of it to go so I could re-cook it into fajitas at home. The Chocolate down under dessert was delicious! Amust-have to end the night. Besides my prime rib steak, the rest of the night was great. Read more
