I usually have a great experience here, but it lacks consistency. I am leaving a review today because I and another customer... ordered a biscuit with butter, but one was supposed to be GF. The person that ordered a GF biscuit accidentally grabbed thenon-GF biscuit off the counter and no one told her it was the wrong one until both biscuits were brought out. She had alreadyeaten the one with gluten, which could have been incredibly dangerous to her health if she needed a GF order. She seemed okaywith it, but it was disappointing that no one told her she had grabbed the wrong one on accident. I hope that in the future theylabel the order GF/non-GF and are more aware of that. When I tell you they have gluten-free biscuits and gravy that'll make you cry because they're so divine, happy dance while... eating, and then cry again when they're gone, I mean it. My personal favorite coffee shop. Good for hanging out or getting work done. Love their baked goods. Service is quick and... friendly. It is a small place --I didn't mind asking to share a table with another patron-- so it's not good for larger groups. Read more
Avellino Coffeehouse is a fantastic downtown staple, and has been a favourite destination of mine for good coffee and delicious... treats for more than a decade. The staff are cool and know their coffee, and are kind to all patrons. The pesto rolls of variouskinds and any of their sweet treats are worth a stop! Read more
