I ordered 3 drinks and mine was a ginger tea. It was flavourless so I assume it had been sitting in a container for ages because... ginger tea should have a good strong bite to it. After a minute the bag broke and it was pretty much undrinkable. Agree with theother post that the price is far too high for the product they served me. I suspect this place is better in the summer. Love: the Barista, the Sandwich Cook, the vibe, the dog friendly outdoor seating, the studious lawyer inside sipping espresso... who said hi to Mandy on his way out and squatted from an enormous height to pet her. What's not love? The rain is coming... Butthere's some indoor seating and a bike shop next door all of a piece! Delicious pesto cheese sandwich which would have hadturkey but I'm vegetarian, so I had the turkey on the side for Miss Mandy Panda. Read more

This is one of my favorite spots in town to grab lunch and coffee! It's so quaint and cozy, and I love hanging out here on a... warm sunny day. The food is exceptional and I enjoy the atmosphere. What's not to love? Bikes, coffee, food, and beer -wonderful combos, indeed. The image is of the pesto turkey sandwich. Read more

i never write reviews but i gotta log on here to celebrate my main man andrew, the bike guy at cafe velo. for some reason we... bought this stupid dutch cargo bike on craigslist with no real plan for how we would maintain it, and when it started to breakdown we had trouble finding someone in town who could actually work on it. fortunately we were directed to cafe velo and andrew, who seems to know as much about bikes as anyone could. he gave it a first-rate tuneup and and been kind enough to let me drop byon a couple different occasions to show me how to better tweak the bike to my liking. a very kind and knowledgable man. i can'trecommend cafe velo enough for all of your bike maintenance needs. I loved the Alpe d'Huez sandwich with salad. The tapenade really takes this salami/ham/cheese sandwich to a different level.... Also Kim as always provided excellent service. My son enjoyed looking at all the bicycles. Read more
