Service was good, food okay? But, I witnessed a customer going to sit down in a booth? the booth seat flip up causing customer... to fall to floor? I mentioned to bartender (who heard it and saw customer on floor) appeared to be in charge? she did nothing.Thankfully customer was a younger person and wasn?t hurt? hate to think what might have happened if elderly customer? Then camethe ridiculous surprise on my bill, ?3% kitchen charge? what the ????? Disappointing as I know the owner has tried hard?I?vemeet him at Jalapeños. Yes he owns Luna?s too. Love the food here and combo with being next to Regal makes dinner and a movie super easy. Typically, the service has been... great. Last run, the waitress was really really bad, but that was just this one time so I am not willing to de-star them. Read more
Just shy of 5 stars. Couple things: pricing is okay but $8+ for another piece of Halibut seems steep. We ordered the shrimp... artichoke dip and it was good but only small 5 crostinis were given and we had to ask for more (10 was more reasonable). Cubanosandwich was very salty for what it was. On the other hand fries were great (get the truffle fries as a side) and the halibutwas good albeit a bit overcooked. Service was fun and attentive. Read more
We've been coming here for years -- the fish and chips are outstanding, and we have never had anything we didn't like -- but... today I took out-of-town guests here, and we tried the brunch for the first time. We ordered the Luna's omelette, waffles, andthe traditional breakfast (with eggs, toast, roasted potatoes, and bacon). Everything was excellent -- and the portions arereally huge! Truly we couldn't finish our meals. Everything was delicious and our server was very attentive, with coffee refillsand checking in. We went at about 11am on a Saturday and there was plenty of seating available. Prices were about $10-16 depending on the dish. Having long enjoyed Luna's lunches and dinners, I'm glad to know about the weekend brunch (which has bothbreakfast and lunch items on the relatively small menu), and will definitely return. Read more
Good food, drinks and friendly waitstaff. We've enjoyed Italian dishes, Fish n Chips, ribs, wings, burgers, vegetarian burgers,... sliders, pizza. Enjoy a meal either before or after a movie, hang out with friends, or celebrate an anniversary or birthday. There are tables inside and a few outside. They offer yummy happy hour specials. Plenty of parking nearby (including RVs).Located in Barkley area, next to the Regal Cinemax theaters. Read more
Just terrific! Great service, some of the best fries in town, the calamari is perfectly cooked and did I mention the service?... Emily was the consummate host! I never expected Luna to be this good, they really surprised me. Read more
Very cute little restaurant with two levels. We sat on the top floor which gave us a fresh and unique experience. Our waitress... Amanda was so nice and attentive and made sure we got the right order. The Bahama mama cocktail was very yummy and thehuckleberry cosmo packed a punch! French onion soup had a very pleasant and tasty broth, but I wish they used gruyere cheeseinstead of Mozzerela. The truffle fries had a very potent flavor and the cheese dip complimented and balanced the flavors verywell. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly, well seasoned, and didn't have too much fat on it (sometimes ribeye steaks have waytoo much fat and not enough meat). The margarita pizza (we got Xtra cheese) had a very dense dough, so it gave it a nice andcrisp bite. Nice, light, tangy sauce to compliment the fresh Mozzerela. The Bathroom was also clean (2 unisex, single userbathrooms). If we ever find our way back in Bellingham we will be back! A great dinner spot if you want to go to a movie aswell. Read more
Recently moved to the area and have been trying out different restaurants. Luna?s is our favorite. The food is fresh with great... flavors and I would agree with the other reviews, the fries are delicious. The lady her served us at 1pm today was veryfriendly. Will definitely come back! Read more
