Wonderful dinner at Ovn on a sunny April evening. We ordered two 12-inch pizzas, along with roasted brussel sprouts, for three... people. The Cerberus and the Matterhorn were both SO delicious! Staff were super welcoming and cheerfully accommodated ourrequest to sit outside. (An attractive covered deck was under construction while we were there.) I look forward to more Ovnpizza during future visits to Bellingham! Read more
Best Gluten Free pizza on the north west coast that I have found, I've been on the search for +20 years. Well done! Also... offers great staff and is located in a cool part of town. Check it out! Not sure if Ghostfish Vanishing Point Gluten Freepairs well with Ovn Wood Fired Gluten free pizza or the other way around. Ethier way together they are pure magic. Read more
I can't believe it took me this long to review Övn Wood Fired Pizza. It is by FAR the best pizza, and MORE restaurant in the... PNW, let alone the Fairhaven / Bellingham area. The Neapolitan - Inspired pizza they produce is truly the best there is. Mywife's favorite is the Margherita but she adds a couple of items that makes hers unique and oh so yummy. Their Sesame - HoisinWings are amazing, the Potato Wedges are terrific, any of the salads are so fresh and so tasty, and the Cerberus pizza withCreminelli salami is a definite 5 Star Award Winner in my books! Right down to the olive oil with Balsamic Vinegar, no detail istoo small and the quality of ingredients is second to none. On certain days weather permitting the outdoor dining is always apleasure and the eclectic choice of wines are always fun to explore. The whole crew @ Övn are always on point and they neverdisappoint. We try to get into Övn at least one a week, it's just that good! OH, and try their new wings, OMG! Read more
I always start by saying how friendly the staff was. I went on Friday evening around 6:00PM. The atmosphere is pretty cute,... definitely a great place for a date. It was getting dark and the waiter asked if she could light a candle for us, it was greatshe asked. The food was pretty good. We ordered some hot wings, buffalo seasoning rub, pretty spicy. They could have been a bitmore crunchy (my personal preference) but they were good. The pizza was amazing. We got the Franklin and the Bushwick pizzas.The 12 in for both was definitely more than enough. Had leftovers. Our waiter asked if we had been there before and we said itwas our first time. He offered us a complementary warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. Yes, they make their own cookiestoo. I will definitely come back and bring a friend who is looking for good pizza in our area. Outdoor seating. Wonderful thin crust pizza with a variety of interesting topping choices. Happy hour everyday! Update: 2-2022,... dined indoor with mask and proof of vax. Friendly staff. Modern, clean dining room. Street parking, we've always been lucky toget a spot right in front of the restaurant. Read more
