Every time I've eaten there it's always good and hot. Had a great conversation with the owner and a very good friend of mine... Richie. I recommend the sausage calzon with taziki sauce. They just seem to go together at least for me. Read more
My family and I travel often to the Vermont/New Hampshire area throughout the year (Sking, ATVing, Leaf Peeping and visiting... friends at Lake Winni). The staff at Athens Pizza is top notch and the food never disappoints us. I am so Glad that Rich is backin the store after his illness, but Sarah and the boys did an excellent job attending to my families needs . If you are evertraveling thru southern to mid Vermont Athens Pizza is a must stop for a quick bite or for a full dinner. Read more
Called to place an order on 8?26?22 for my daughter. The person that answered the phone to take the order, was rude, and... disrespectful. I was trying to tell her what was supposed to be on 2 grinders and what was supposed to be on the side, and shekept interrupting me, told me that I was yelling at her, which I wasn't, I have 2 people that were listening to me. Then sheproceeded to tell me that she'd hang up on me. I told her I wasn't going to deal with someone that wouldn't listen and justkept interrupting me, and then I hung up on her. Athens pizza has gone downhill over the years, their employees have becomeruder and more disrespectful. The food isn't all that great, they mess up orders, and it is way over priced. The owner, shouldjust shut the place down and cut his losses. Let a restaurant move in there, where they value their customers, their opinionsand actually listen to them when they are ordering something, without interrupting them!!!! Read more
Bland pizza. Sauce out of a can. Overcooked. Doesn?t let patrons use bathroom. Won?t let you dine in. Says masks required for... entry on door but owner inside without mask. Read more
Lettuce was rotten on my grinder.one slice a tomato.it was groce .no cukes they messed up my daughter's as well .when I called... they said we can actually fix it but they would charge me more.never eat there again.i feel sick now !! Read more

The food smelled great, unfortunately the cashier didn't seem to like her job or dealing with customers. Smug rude and thinks... she's better than the world. After my husband paid for our lunch, I brought to her attention that the prices for each food orderon the receipt were $2+ more than their prices on their board. The explanation that I received was "prices went up and theperson that handles price changes has been out sick... for 2 years" joking or not, that's not an answer an upset customer wantsto hear. I'm not made of money and I'm not a penny pincher but I expect to pay what the price is on the board infront of me. Andto not even make it right. Until their menu board prices are changed everyone should be paying the price that's displayed.Granted their prices are changed online but I didn't order online. At least cover up the old prices and write the new one overit! Read more
