My family and I went here on Sunday. We didn?t have reservation, but they accommodated us in the patio. It was our first time... here, so we didn?t have idea about the menu. The server was? ok, she didn?t explain us the menu, or a least offered us anysuggestions. However, we decided to try different dishes. The food here is really good! The pappardelle was amazing. Fordesserts, we got the tiramisu and the crème brûlée. Both were good. The only thing that I give this place 4 starts is for theservice. The service here was poor. Just the guy who I believe is the bartender was nice. We were constantly waiting for theserver. She never asked us if we are okay, or if we need something else. Overall, I recommend this restaurant for the deliciousfood. I?ll come back to try another dishes. Hopefully they improve their customer service next time. Read more
The staff at Avino?s- Meredith and Gabby helped me plan a bridal shower from Florida for my daughter. We held the event this... Saturday, June 11 and I am sooo happy I chose this restaurant. Our waitress Jenna was so sweet and helped make the shower a hugesuccess. The food was delicious, the outside tent which we decorated was perfect and the champagne table and special occasioncake added an extra nice touch. I would highly recommend both the restaurant and the outside tent for any party. Thank YouMeredith, Gabby, Christine and Jenna for Going above and beyond to make my daughters shower special! Very disappointed in their catering. The chicken bruschetta was weird and a small portion. The bruschetta came with celery,... black olives and no balsamic vinegar or onion- ,just weird and nothing like you would expect chicken bruschetta to taste. What'sworse we get a small portion of sliced chicken. We had to order more food last minutes from another place to compensate for thesmall portion of chicken we got. The penna al vodka was also weird. It came with very little sauce and it had mushrooms inside but no pancetta. The rice-balls and meatball sliders were okay. Okay, here's the deal. I showed up on a Wednesday night at like, 7:30(?) and McKenzie was just absolutely, hands down, one of... the best Hostesses I've encountered on this Island so far. It takes a LOT to be a gracious, competent and friendly host and ifI'm Avino's I'd do anything in my power to keep her! Jess helped clear my table and Frank in the bar was a phenomenalBartender. It's a fine line when you need to balance a service bar with tickets and your own crowd and he did soflawlessly! The Smoke Show cocktail was EXACTLY what I wanted/ expected, the Pan Seared Scallops special was something I couldeat every single day, AND they have port wine. I may have just moved into town, but part of me wonders if I might just moveinto this place as a regular! absolutely a homerun and if you've looked for a quaint, quiet, clean, friendly place to get anintimate dinner with some of the best dishes I've seen on a menu on this island [6 states and counting] then get here,soon! can't wait to explore all the food & drink menu has to offer. Doesn't get better than this. Too notch, quaint, classy place. Went here and made plans for my 25th Anniversary. They had cold... Champagne ready at a real nice table. Service was great, very attentive and courteous. Antipasto was fresh and sliced to order,baked clams were delicious, hate to sound cheesy but they were the best I've had. Wife got a chicken scallopini, i got astellar steak and shrimp scampi-surf and Turf, after dinner drinks, wife got a Tirimisu martini, I had a 15 yr scotch, finishedwith a Tirimisu for dessert.
