The atmosphere was happy, the location is good, the service was excellent. There is a bar. The food was just Okay! My daughter... and I had their lobster roll; it had plenty of lobster meat, but it was just Okay. My wife had a grilled chicken sandwich; thechicken was dry and the corners were hard. Four of us came here for my Grandma’s birthday and we were deeply disappointed in everything about Porters. From the service... to the food it was unimpressive and disappointing. We had the Chicken Pot Pie, Crab Cake sandwich, Lobster roll & Lamb Chops.Lobster roll and French fries were the only good things we had. The chicken pot pie was watery and took forever to be served. Weshould of been informed of how long it would take to be served. It took an hour from when we ordered our food to be served. Thelambs chops & crab cake were clearly cooked too early bc by the time they came out they were cold. It wasn’t busy for aSaturday afternoon but still took so long to be brought out. The waitress was very nice but seemed to disappear for long periodsof time without any updates. We wouldn’t come back here again and don’t recommend it. Amazing food, well served and really great service! I little bit expensive!
Burgers were great. Big, cooked correctly, proper toppings on every order, fresh bun. Service was friendly and patient despite... the changes to the toppings for the present parties. Restuarant is definitely more of a seafood place but the food wasdelicious and despite looking for an Americana-type of location, we were all pleased to have wound up here. Recommended forsure. Came here for the first time and the restaurant was nice . The interior had a very homey feel. I got the calamari which was good... but be aware they fry peppers and mix it with the calamari which was pretty good. I got the chicken sandwich for my lunch and Iwas a bit underwhelmed especially for the price . The chicken was small (check my photo) and didn’t have much flavor I had toask for more mayo because there was only a tiny strip on it and the sandwich needed it .
