Rumor has it that the Wyoming-based Taco John's is much better than Taco Bell. I tried it for the first time, and geez oh man,... that statement is objective truth. The chicken quesadilla wasn't too heavy despite being loaded with cheese. And the potatoolés are a unique side: what makes both stand out are the seasoning. I do not enjoy complaining about things, but sometimes constructive criticism can help a willing employee. I stopped at Taco... John's inside the Love's Truck Stop to grab a quick snack. The gal working the register (Sat 7/30 @ appx 430pm) seemed annoyedby everyone. She has mastered the art of eye rolling when someone asks for something extra or a special request. I have afeeling that she may not realize that she does the such. Overall she was kind, just the first impression wasn't great. Thesnacks I purchased were good...for the most part. The employees in the kitchen seemed kind. Let's get the gal at the registersome customer service skills, and you'll have 5 stars. I do believe she has the potential! Read more
Nice drive thru that was quick and efficient. I like a different options than my usual fast food as there are no Taco John's... around my area. The tacos are American style tacos with some unique options. I had steak and potato taco that tasted more likebeef chunks and potatoes than steak but it still was good.
