The burgers were great. The service was just ok. I didn't want a burger but my husband did. So we checked this place out. I saw... a burrito on the menu and asked what was in it. I was told it was meat and beans. So I ordered it. 20 minutes and a screamingtoddler later we get my husband and daughter's burgers. I get told the burrito takes a while. 5 minutes later I get a friedfrozen burrito. There are no beans or meat inside. It's that funky soy protein highly processed food stuff. I couldn't eat it.My husband takes it back for me as I'm helping my daughter eat. He said they'd make me a burger but they're not happy about it.My burger was good and came out quickly. So all in it was OK. They fixed the issue, but a thoughtful response to my questionwould have saved everyone some time and effort. Read more
Fantastic! This place can cook up a burger!! We chose their signature firecracker burger and the ranch burger. Perfect and... wouldn't change a thing. We had a malt to go for dessert. On the way home my son asked if we could go back for lunch the nextday. That is how good it was. Read more
The Hill was very good. The burgers were large and the fries were delicious. We had both crinkle cut and curly fries. We... originally ordered The Cowboy burger without onions, but the cashier changed our order, so we wouldn't have to pay for theonions we were not going to get. I thought that was very thoughtful. The Rancher burger with avocadoes was very good. Theambiance was what was expected in a local burger place with old Coca Cola signs adorning every wall. Read more
Great burgers. They have a local meat market burger. I got a double and it's a huge burger. Great place but not much room inside... to sit and it gets busy. I think they do have a drive through. Read more
This is a Small Town Texas Eatery. They have a number of choices of burgers, sandwiches, and baskets such as a chicken finger... basket or a steak finger basket. We purchased regular hamburgers with fries onion rings and an order of sweet potato fries. The fries were okay. I wouldn't call them great, but we're average. The sweet potato fries were also average. Both did the jobas far as a side dish, but the real winner is there onion rings. They are well worth the money in the wait to get them. Theburgers we're good and I would have them again. The chicken fingers were very good. I only had a bite of one but it was tastyand I could see myself ordering that in the future. On our next trip I will definitely try the malts. The Ambiance of theplace really isn't anything special other than very few tables to sit at and so it can get busy. But they do have a patio areawith quite a few tables that you can go out and sit right by the main thoroughfare. You can also get it to go as there is a nicepark nearby that you can enjoy the meal. The service was average and the people there were helpful but they were young andwe're doing the best they could. The overall experience was positive and I will definitely be back. Read more
A classic burger joint tucked into the heart of tiny Bellville that has been there forever. We all enjoyed a tasty, juicy... burger with plenty of choices on toppings and classic tator tots, rings, or fries on our last visit through town. The staff isso friendly, and the service is quick.
