The staff is always friendly and the sandwiches are very tasty! I travel almost 45 minutes to get there and I\'ve sat inside... and curbside with exceptional service. I refer friends to stop by when in the area. If you want lean, quality meats, Berg\'sis it. The poutine is amazing as well! Read more

Bergs is SOOO good!! I\'ve tried almost everything on the menu and it\'s all delicious, but my absolute favorite is the... thanksgiving sandwich with a side of gravy. I ordered it last night from their website and picked it up on my way home fromwork. It was insanely good. And so filling- I couldn\'t even eat the whole thing. (I\'ll eat the second half of the sandwich forlunch today.) My husband is equally obsessed with the Reuben and the Smoked Turkey Sandwich with the coleslaw and Russiandressing on it. And you have to try the latkes- they\'re amazing. Their smoked meat is always fresh and delicious and the ryebread they use is fantastic. I love the fries and matza ball soup too. And the jersey poutine is incredible! It\'s just all sogood that it\'s hard to name all my favs. Definitely worth 5 stars. Highly recommend!!! Read more
I didn\'t enjoy the smoked Pastrami I first tried in Montreal, but I LOVED Berg\'s. The quality of the meat was excellent and... the smokiness was rightly understated. This place is a keeper! But, there are some downsides. To be THIS GOOD and havevirtually no seating is a darn shame. An expensive sandwich needs to be eaten there and then and 8 stools at a narrow counterdon\'t do this great place any justice. Also, the owners and staff are very unfriendly. Leaving the place my wife and I remarkedto the older woman at the counter how much we enjoyed our food and she \"grunted\" in a \"yeah, OK, we know, pay and leave\"tone. Hate paying money to unfriendly people. STILL, we\'ll hold our noses on that and return. Read more
