We were looking for a last minute place to eat brunch. We happened upon this place which has parking in the back. The door to... get in is also through the back and you walk through a hallway pass the bathrooms before you get to the hostess. This looks likea temporary entrance. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the place and the fact that they still used dim sum carts. There are also waiters walking around with platters to bring food to you. We had puereh tea which came out hot (what we wanted). We had mostly the classics. They also have the baked bbq pork buns with the sugar crusts (the ones made famous by Tim ho wan). Read more

Now that my new apartment is only one block away from China Village Resto, I think it's going to be my new Chinese food 'go ~... to'! Not only is it conveniently located but they have great service, a huge menu, super tasty food and they're open late. Iloved how the staff periodically came by our table and offered us their specials dishes of the day on a cart. Fried rice, several types of chow mein noodles, dim sum, steamed broccoli, sio mai and sesame balls. We ordered the spicy chicken wings,Vermicelli noodles with beef, pork sio mai and walnut prawns. All excellent choices and tons more to choose from on the nextvisit. Read more

Very authentic Cantonese food. We had a clam dish, Snake Soup, Fish and some Vegetables dish here which I don't know their... English name and I was not disappointed. The staff are polite and courteous. Anyone should check this place out. Read more

Overall a decent dim sum restaurant with tons of good options. Polite efficient staff. ? the stuffed eggplant with shrimp is... perfection. Large juicy eggplant marinated in sweet savory sauce with pan fried prawn inside. A ???? combination ? stuffed crabclaw is a wonderful medley of crispy perfectly fried thin breading and juicy crab and shrimp filling ? siew mai is okay, big andjuicy but there were some unchewable fat parts, nothing big though ? I wouldn't recommend the scallop rice roll, though the riceroll is thick and mochi like, there's too much rice and too little scallop ? the lotus leaf rice (lor mai kai) is white yummywith decent rice to meat ratio ? the sweet tofu gives you unlimited syrup! The tofu itself is soft and aromatic. ? I want to trytheir pan fried shrimp cake next time. ? would not recommend hot oil wanton ? love the sticky rice shrimp Read more

I?m sincerely impressed with this restaurant, I?ve been seeing the facade for many years and it was funky looking so I never... tried it, but I decided to give it a shot, and man have I missed a good restaurant. The first thing I really liked was theservice, immediately friendly and focused on what I would want. Next came the main objective, the food. I was really satisfiedwith the variety and flavors overall. I liked that the servers took the time to show you the options as they came. I?m happy Itried it, I?ll be coming back for sure. Read more

Good place for cantonese dimsum. They bring dishes to your table all the time and let you take from their tray or order directly... from the paper menu. Prices range depending on the premiumness of each dish. We liked the food, very good for the area, althoughnot the best in the US. Mainly, the prices felt a bit too high, with some of the dishes costing $8.95 (small size dishes). Teais also charged per person, even though they offer it as soon as you sit down and for everyone automatically, making it seemlike its complimentary. There's usually a wait, but luckily we only had to wait for 4 parties when we arrived, about 10min.There are some chairs where you can wait. Reservations only for big parties (10 or more)... Went in Xmas Day 2017 on the fly with a date for lunch and had some fantastic dim sum. The dim sum was of the highest quality... and I felt like I was in Chinese Food Heaven - many, many varieties of offerings served by staff members rolling carts orcarrying trays laden with goodies. I had some of the shrimp offerings that were crunchy deep fried and soft that were excellent. There was plenty of desert offerings too that my date enjoyed. The dining room is large and was extremely busy, the service wasfriendly, and fast. I would challenge that China Village is the best Chinese Food in the area for not few miles, and I lookforward to going back sometime soon. There is a very large parking area and the restaurant is located very approximate to the101. Read more
