This place should have 5.5 stars. Best sushi I've ever had. Hands down. They know high quality fish. Melts in your mouth. I don't care what their sushi tastes like. If they can't produce in a reasonable time, there is a serious issue with their... kitchen. I ordered ahead of time (35 mins) via Uber Eats. App said the order was ready for pickup. So I show up and have to waitoutside for another 20-30 mins. To be honest, I gave up counting minutes. All I know is just wandering around the store while Iwait relentlessly. It wasn't even just me. 4 other persons were sitting outside for their pickups. Look no further for fresh, authentic and mouth watering sushi! They carry several different selection of fresh fish from Japan.... All very carefully selected and served. The nigiris I tried were on par with those served in Michelin star restaurants. Don?tpay attention to bad reviews that say the portions are small, this is how authentic sushi (nigiri and sashimi) should be. Youare not supposed to eat a big chunk of rice with mediocre quality fish on top as they serve in ordinary sushi joints. It is thequality of the fish, not the size of the rice :) In fact, smaller the rice, the better. This place definitely deserves 5 starsfor the quality of the food and the service. Read more

I?m not sushi person, but this place definitely eliminates my bias in raw seafood!!! It?s a very small store with only 12 seats... on CA-82. There are a few street parking spots in the front and at back as well. We were lucky when we arrived there on Saturdayafternoon that there was no line. We ordered a combination omakase coming with 10 pieces of nigiri and a dessert at end. Thesushi are very fresh and amazing. I don?t even need to dip sushi in soy sauce.
