Very nice place, great atmosphere, welcoming, great food and amazing service. The only place that stayed late.
My husband and I had a very delicious and enjoyable dinner at Le Mista last evening, with a fine bottle of wine. It?s a very... lovely restaurant, well laid out for inside dining, and with a beautiful patio with umbrellas and heating for outdoor eating.The food was top-notch, with an extensive choice of dishes, and the service was excellent. Would definitely go back again. Andthe best part was the last - the owner, Pascal, drove us back to where we were staying after the taxi he had called cancelled onus, and there was no way we could have walked as my husband has mobility issues and uses a walker. I'll say first, I'd still suggest this as a place to go for a nice date or event, as the venue is lovely. However, I came in as... a single diner, and when I asked the server about my order after waiting 40+ min for wine and oysters, they had entirelyforgotten it (which the server was at least honest about). It was rushed out 5 min later, every oyster had significant grit andshell bits in it. Not impressed at all. Really frustrating when locations devalue single diners, especially when many of uscome in intending to order several drinks, apps, desserts, etc, often at the same $ value as a table of 2+ diners. I paid andleft without bothering to order the rest of my meal, and went to another local venue instead. Read more
Very nice terrace partially covered since some tables have umbrellas. Excellent service, efficient & courteous. The food was... good albeit a bit expensive. For that price I expect a more refined cuisine. Read more
I was visiting from Maine and I stopped in here with my 2 kids. My pasta was quite good and as was my kids Pizza. No complaints.... We had a very pretty waitress who spoke english to us and took really good care of us. Added bonus! Read more
Terrible food! Got the carbonara pasta tasted like milk. The lucia pasta wasn?t good either. Maybe if they brought parmesan for... our pasta it would?ve tasted better. Waited 1hr 45 min for our food for it to taste bland and our pizza was raw. 2 stars for thefriendly staff and for giving us free hot shots for the raw pizza????. Went here on a Sunday evening with friends and was pleasantly surprised how busy and lively it was. I ordered the aranchini... appetizer. It was very delicious. My only complaint was our waiter who while friendly enough was just not good at his job. Herefused for our small group to change tables (we had a reservation and there were many open table that never filled), his wineservice was very poor, he came to check if we liked the food when we were almost done, etc. Disappointing for a nice place likethis to have such poor service, but again - the food was excellent!
