I booked my wedding with them last year around December 2021. Gave Angi the deposit and my wedding date was set on July 18,2021... for the banquet hall venue at La casa grande. On the next day i contacted her for my receipt of my deposit and from there. Sheghosted me for almost 5 mouths! I did everything you could possibly think of trying to get a hold of them. I called them, calledthe restaurant and left many messages, texted them and email them and NOTHING! This was truly my worst nightmare! My wedding wasalmost 2 mouths away! Until finally I called the restaurant and got a hold of Peter the owner. Told him the situation and all Iheard were excuses and lies. We met up and he was kinda of rude. Told us what we wanted to talk about. Hello the wedding!.....next thing you know the banquet hall was already booked by someone else! Clearly very very very unprofessional and lack ofcommunication between him and his wife. He shows us another remodel banquet hall venue next to the restaurant. The venue wasstill under construction and then assure us it will be done before the wedding date. We didn't have a choice but to go by hisword. It was already to late to book somewhere else. Then a week before the wedding he tells us that the venue is still underconstruction. Lastly we had our wedding at Domincos, his second restaurant. You all do a great job when we order carry out. We got the steak fajitas tonight and there was a bit of wait but as always worth... the small wait. You have fresh quality ingredients every time. The staff are nice and the blond lady is always so nice! Thankyou for a great meal???? Read more
Love the food, prices have increased due to inflation but the people are nice and as I said before, the food is delicious.
I have ordered from La Casa Grande multiple times. The only thing I like is the beef burrito dinner with the chimichanga sauce.... I have had the burrito with the chihuahua and mole sauce too. I do prefer the chimichanga sauce due to flavor preference. Their burrito is filled with beans, meat, and rice. The dinner is served with refried beans and rice. As far as the saucegoes, I don?t like the mole sauce. The mole sauce has a slightly smoky and fruity flavor that I don?t care for. The chihuahuacheese sauce has a tiny bit of zip, but too much of this sauce can be overwhelming. The tacos al pastor and the tacos Mexicanstyle are very plain and lack flavor. My son has tried both al pastor and chicken tacos Mexican style and says that the flavoris no different than a street taco. He has been very disappointed every time we have ordered from here. I have also tried thetamales and I was very disappointed. The tamales also lacked flavor. They tasted like ground corn. Read more
Ordered food came within 45 minutes they forgot my soda a 6 pack at that. Called to let them know, she says our driver will be... out with it. 45 minutes goes by I call back asking where it is. Sorry we been busy driver will be there soon. Sorry not sorrybut if you forgot something I ordered I should not have to wait this long for it. It has been a hour now and still nothing. Holy overeating, Batman. Yep, prepare yourself, people. Huge portions. Tasty foods. Margaritas. Beware! We came in from out of... state, and the kind staff happily brought our family in, all 36 of us, plus my 1 service dog, and treated us like kings. Great food and even better ownership, I ordered dinner for the family and I. the owner and his wife came to the pick up window... and personally thanked me for my purchase. They quickly gave me a rundown of other services they offer and invited me to take alook at the banquet hall they also own and operate. First class folks and great food! Read more
