One of our local favorite casual restaurants. Plenty of parking, safe well lit lot, right on the Rock River, indoor and patio... seating. Food ranges from burgers to seafood. Good selection of wine and beer. Inside they have large TV’s usually displayingsports. 3 of us with drinks cost $50. They have very good servers who want you to have a great dining experience. We absolutely love The Rock. Visit there a couple of Sundays per month and are never disappointed in the food or service. My wife and I both ordered burgers. Wasn't sure if it was a McDonald's burger or what. The meat was very thin not to mention I... didn't know I had Swiss cheese. My wife's Burger tasted like it was burnt. The atmosphere is nice and I understand about theprices. With the way that things are these days, I don't think I will be stopping here anytime soon. Food is always good, and the service is always friendly and prompt. Can't wrong with a burger or one of their sandwiches. Full... bar has available many craft beers to choose from as well as the usual beer options. Hard to beat their Bloody Mary's. Alwaysvery clean in the restaurant and bar area, and the restrooms are kept clean and tidy. I recommend stopping for a nice meal, adrink and nice view of the river. Read more
