The food was great! They close pretty early tho I wish they were open later I?d definitely eat there more often. I had the... carnivore omelette and waffle minis. The omelette was good probably needed a tad bit more seasoning or something because theeggs didn?t really have a taste but overall was pretty good. The mini waffles were phenomenal though and definitely a musttry!!!!!! They let you choose different flavors and everything. Definitely a 10/10 overall. UPDATE: I went again and took myteam from work with me this time and it got even BETTER! I tried ?The Little Terminators? this time and I think I have a newfavorite breakfast spot! They have the best chicken sausage I?ve ever had they are definitely a 15/10 !!!!!!! Read more
We had heard wonderful things about Water Street, but I did not see what all the hype is about. Food was mediocre at best. My... son actually said, "Mom, we could literally make this exact meal at home." I had to agree with him. One star for the brief,10-minute wait-time. One star for the server who was very polite and attentive. The music decor was cool, but the flies buzzingaround the window took away from any ambiance for me. The food also was not impressive. It took at least 45 minutes (1 hourafter being seated) to get our meals, and when we did, our waffles were crunchy and room temperature, and my side of eggs,potatoes, and sausage was cold and unappealing. The waffle plate presentation was pretty, but overall, the food wasdisappointing. The server had the manager take 50% off my entree (about $5), so I guess they made some kind of effort to makethings better, but it really wasn't enough to make me want to come back. In for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were seated within 5 minutes and another 5 minutes for jour waitress to check on us.... We ordered our food and drinks. Drinks came out quickly, food took about 35 minutes. I had the Rye Bourbon and wife had dirtysouth. Both of us enjoyed the chicken and waffles and potatoes but our eggs were cold. Not just kind of cold, they were cold.Well, they were pretty busy so we let it slide. Overall pretty good but haven?t earned 5 stars yet. Read more
I absolutely love this place. I'm from Austin but ate here while visiting family. I wasn't expecting much but this place could... compete with some of my favorite brunch spots back home. The atmosphere is really cute and they have a cozy little garden patioyou can eat at when the weather is nice. The service was amazing! The staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and were ableto help me find a breakfast I loved even though I'm a picky vegetarian. Can't wait to eat here again. Read more
The Water Street Waffle Company came highly recommended but was told to be prepared to wait. To hopefully avoid a waiting line... we decided to be there when they opened. They opened at 8:00, have seating for I?d guess about 50 people and by 8:05 there was awaiting line. Their menu has a great variety and we tried the Breakfast Platter, The Italian Avocado Toast, The Dirty South andFruity Pebbles Waffle Platter (Adult Size). We all agreed that the quality of the food would be worth a wait and that we wouldreturn. Read more
The waffles are bomb!! The mimosa flights are bomb!! The wait was super long, but walking around downtown Belton until we were... able to get seated was also fun too! It's so worth a try, for sure!! Read more
If you have ever traveled and stumbled upon a little storefront restaurant that was so quaint, welcoming, served scrumptious... food, then wished there was some place like that back home -- well here it is in ours. The place is perfect - well spacedtables, friendly informed staff, no wait time for seating, interesting decor. Who ever is cooking knows their stuff!! We chosecreate your own breakfast. The waffles! If a beignet and a Belgian waffle had a baby, this is the wonderful result ???? overeasy eggs are perfection! The hash is so yummy, love the peppers and onions, just the right amount. The chicken sausage is tastyand definitely seasoned correctly. Coffee is bold but not bitter, perfect start to the morning. All is awesome. The onlyrecommendation I would make is offer fruit for a substitute, apple slices, orange/tangerine/mandarin, grapes. This is the placethis area has needed, hope this business lasts for many years! Beautiful place, clean, and friendly staff. 1st time visit but will be back to try other dishes. Today I tried the 3 little... terminators. The waffles were tougher than expected but I saw some others dishes that look delicious. 3 stars for wait time. Iwatched as some of us waited longer to get our food than others seated after us.
