We had a Great experience here. The food was like home cooking. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. They are also... definitely about Community as they are putting in a Thanksgiving Dinner on Monday and will be making a donation back into one ofour local charities. I say BRAVO Ladies. Absolutely terrible food and service.have been going here for 20 plus years and will now never go back. Bacon was so thin you... could see right thru it pretty sure it was no name and it tasted like fish. Home fries were raw and cold. The coffee tasted likeit just came out of the lake and to top it all off the staff was sitting out in the restaurant sitting area speaking in anotherlanguage which is fine but dam near at the top of their lungs couldn?t even have a conversation with my family at the table. Breakfast is served all day so I had breakfast at 2pm. Eggs,meat,potatoes, toast and coffee for $10.25 Good deal. Food was... great, service was friendly and quick. I will definitely be back to try other menu items. Read more
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!! Been going for here for almost 20 years and new owners have destroyed it. Terrible service, took... forever. 45 minutes for take out and not even busy. No longer homemade burger patties, some tasteless frozen boxed junk now.Garbage bacon. Toppings were all messed up. Was overcharged. Would rather them have doubled the price and kept things the same,not resort to serving trash. Sad to say but will never be going back. Went there twice this summer with my kids, closed each time. While we sat outside eating what we got from the store across the... road, which was great by the way, 4 separate people walked up to the door disappointed. This place was an institution forcyclists and tourists. Now they don't care enough to observe proper hours. I'd love to talk about the food but I never had anysince the new owners took over. Really glad to see the restaurant back open. Breakfast was very similar to what it used to be. The scrambled eggs were a bit... more like omelette style but I didn't mind. Service was pretty quick but you can tell they are still trying to get theirfooting. Prices have increased like everywhere else. I heard a lot of seniors complaining about the portions being toolarge. Friendly service. I will be returning. Read more
I'm sorry but this really upset me to hear all the negatives comment coming out from some of you....SHAME on you! Give them a... chance and I'm sure timing and food standard will get better in time. First time we went back after the new owner took over, yeswe did wait for awhile but we had a great service and the ladies we're great. Read more
