Bemidji is a cool little Brewery. Tap room is clean and cozy. Service was very friendly and though busy the beer tenders were... willing to take time to talk about the beer/make recommendations. There are 13 beers on tap, 5 of them are IPAs...of those Ionly had the blood orange which was good. The red, Octoberfest, blonde and stout were quite good. The fest and czech dark wereokay. This place should be on your list if you find yourself in Bemidji. Read more

We visited 3 times in the past two weeks. We sat at their bar each time. We tried about 5 different beers and all were quite... good. The place is clean and neat. However, none of the staff that waited on us gave a friendly vibe! -Never were we greeted byany staff saying Hi or Hello or welcome to the Brewery! -Not once did anyone say, Thanks for coming in. -Never did anyone askhow we enjoyed the beer. The last time we visited it was evident that both bartenders were deliberately avoiding eye contactwith us. Especially the fellow with the big bushy beard. He was standing only a couple feet from us and not interacting with anyother customers at that time. That was puzzling because he waited on us the first time we visited. And at that time we tippedhim 5 dollars for 11 dollars worth of beer. The fellow with short red hair stood toward the end of the bar sipping his own beerand occasionally poured a beer for another customer. When he glanced near us never would look directly at us. We couldn't gethis attention until he finally walked in front of us to grab something near the register. I did get his attention by saying tohim, "Hi there. May we order a beer?" On our 2nd visit the young lady bartender had a bit friendlier demeaner. Read more

We were looking forward to making a visit to Bemidji brewing before we stopped in. The taproom was spacious and clean. This is... definitely a popular place, there were several parties already there right at open the day we went. The staff was friendly andserved us right away. We signed up for the rewards program at checkout and were able to get a couple rewards after our firstvisit. We brought back the fills to share with my parents and they looked forward to the refills we grabbed a few days laterwhen we were in town. Being the only brewery in the area, and in a college town, I didn?t know what to expect. But it was agreat place to stop by. There was a great selection available. I would recommend popping in if you?re in the area. Read more

Must try the Oud Bruin Kriek! Takes up to two years to make since its aged in maple syrup barrels and with the tartness of the... sour cherries it makes this one a real winner! Really loved the Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout too. Very rich peanut taste andthe addition of the chocolate doesn't overwhelm with sweetness. Lemondrop Blonde is a perfect Shandy with a jacked up citrusflavor (pictured). Blood Orange IPA was not nearly as bitter as I thought it would be and just enough blood orange to notice onthe palette without being too sweet. Read more

I passed through Bemidji on a cross country trip. I've hit a lot of breweries from Washington to Nova Scotia. This one is my top... 5. Ian left an impression. Great beer, got some to go for camping, and also got my first of many pasties. If you're a Route 2er,add this to your hitlist. Read more

Loved the variety of the beers and had great service despite them being busy! This brewery has very much the vibe of being both... a local and tourist kind of spot. There?s bar, indoor, and outdoor seating. Read more

Nice taproom with great selection, a few hoppy IPAs stood out and good stouts, sours were definitely unique. Had appetizers and... pasties, but unfortunately, they were sold out of some of the pasty options, but what we had was delicious. Easy walk fromother downtown Bemidji attractions, family friendly, and relaxed. Read more

Left Grand Forks on a mission. A mission to visit the source of so many 6-packs of Summer IPA I've destroyed. There was a detour... on highway 2 which lead me to a road less traveled (92) through Clearbrook. Beautiful drive. I arrived at Bemidji Brewing at11:00am when they opened. There is ample street parking and 4 spots (one handicapped) right up front. The AC is very niceinside, but they have a nice little patio too. I sat at the beautiful wooden-slab bar. All of the low and High tops behind mewere unoccupied, but I was told come 3-4pm it's fill up to capacity. They have a small food menu that is pretty legit, but thebeer is the star of the show. Came for the summer IPA and ended up falling in love with the Blood Orange IPA. (Don't worry, 7 ofthe 10 on tap aren't IPAs) The have a rewards system that logs your visits and award you points. The staff very knowledgeableand super friendly. 100% will be back to Bemidji Brewing. @devinejd Read more
