The overall experience was good. Ambiance and waitstaff good. Not complaining but? My issue was with the rub that was used on... the brisket. You need to rename this Black Pepper Brisket. Only the center parts were edible. It looked like each cut was coatedwith a black pepper crust then smoked. If I had some warning on how hot (spice wise) the brisket was, I would have ordered a nonBBQ item. Read more

We enjoyed our experience at Fozzie's. Visiting from out of town for business, we looked into the highest rated restaurants in... town, and this was high on the list. It definitely lives up to the hype. It has a cool, causal environment and a lot of personaltouches in decor that make the think this place is well loved by the staff and owners. My husband ordered the walleye dinnerwith their recommended Mac and cheese as a side, along with a side salad. It was delicious. I'll admit that I snuck a couplebites off his plate. They fish was cooked perfectly! I ordered the brisket salad, and it was without a doubt the best salad Ihave ever had. Great composition and incredibly smoky, tender, and well-spiced brisket. Also, as an aside, we witnessed anunsavory incident that occurred regarding another person in the restaurant, and the whole staff handled it with grace, care, andunity. I was very grateful for them! Wish I had tried this place out earlier in life, because I've been missing out! Me and a couple buddies went here, bought the... kitchen crew a beer and a round of shots and had a good ol' time with cheap beer and a-ma-zing food. I had the alfredo and whileit certainly was unique, it was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The staff were awesome and the atmosphere ofFozzie's is great. Totally stumbled on this place by mistake. We were actually walking to a different place when we saw it and decided to give it a... try. We had the monster tots with brisket, the mac n cheese egg rolls, and an order of cornbread. The cornbread was so yummy. Itwas ferns but still fluffy. The whipped butter that came with was the perfect topper. I think it was a honey butter and it had atouch of cinnamon. I thought the mac n cheese in the egg roll wrapper was odd. For me it just didn't seem right, lol. The eggroll was crisp, not greasy. The mac n cheese inside was the best I've ever had that wasn't my own. I've ordered mac n cheese somany times and I have NEVER said I would order it again. I really wished I had ordered the loaded mac n cheese after I tastedwhat was inside that egg roll. The monster tots were golden, crunchy, and were smothered with cheese, "Fozzie sauce", and pulledbrisket. The Fozzie sauce had a hint of sweet, a hint of spice, with just the right amount of kick. The brisket was the besteither of us had ever had. Please don't tell my pitmaster cousin. His is competition worthy, but Fozzie's would win handsdown! Today was my and My friends 1st time checking out this place. Throughly enjoyed it. I love the idea of buying a round of beer... for the kitchen. Food was GENEROUSLY proportioned. Oh, and also my friend spotted Duff Goldman eating dinner there with his lilfamily. Read more
