What I expected I never received. Expectations can get in the way. I have spent some time thinking about that. This pizza joint... is well respected in this town and known for good pizza. I had the wild rice pizza --never had that ingredient on a pizza.. Ihad the meat left off and just vegetables (love that the place was flexible like that). This was not the best choice for thispizza because the meat is the star and the flavor, you leave it off you have issues.The rice, mushrooms, and the onion (thesubstitution for the meat) were diced very small and spread out that my mouth did not have enough of each of those ingredientsto taste or feel them. The tasty white sauce over powered these vegetables. I talked to who I believe was the owner but shedistracted by other things. When I left I was disappointed. As I look back, I did have one great white sauce pizza and once in awhile I tasted the wild rice.The moral of the story is if you are a vegetarian , you have to know which vegetables go best withthis type of pizza. Wow! How did we not know about this place for lunch after all these years! 3 adults & 2 kids for under $50 for a lunch buffet .... It was a good variety of food from Soup to Pasta & Salads and Ice cream and pizza. Nice staff & very on top of it . Very clean! Read more
Giovanni's Pizza has been a mainstay for our family for decades. Their pizza is always great and the service is second to none.... If you are in the Bemidji area, especially at the waterfront you won't be disappointed with them. Read more
They have good pizza and a great buffet. The restaurant is very sanitary and the staff are nice. If I where to be more specific... with the pizza I would say it is thinner than most but still thick enough to not be crunchy. The pizza is typically greasy aswell but not an overwhelming amount. There dessert pizza is also quite desirable. I would rank this 3rd best in Bemijdi, whichis decent considering how many pizza places we have in town. Read more
