Beware of bait and switch! Yesterday I went in to the Galveston store and said I want to order four Cakes in a Jar. I told the... person the flavors for each. She asked if I wanted large or small. I said whatever comes in the Mason jar. She told me bothsizes do. So I ordered smalls and was charged $24. When I went to pick them up today I received four cakes in a plasticcontainer that looks like something from McDonalds! I explained to the guy I asked for the cakes in a Mason Jar. He said ifyou want a mason jar you need to go to the other store. These were to be gifts! So disadisappointed in this place. Read more
We went to Ida's for cupcakes because we were given some gift certificate for cupcakes. When you order you can mix and match... your cupcakes and your frosting and they prepare them right then. We tried a variety of flavors, chocolate with chocolatefrosting, yellow cake with vanilla frosting, red velvet with cream cheese frosting, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, andpeanut butter with peanut butter frosting. They were all amazing and I can't even pick a favorite (though the red velvet andthe peanut butter were probably at the top). Ida's Cupcakes was the PERFECT choice for our wedding! Autumn was amazing to work with from the tasting to the big day. Their... cakes are stunning! We had a two-tier cake as well as 5 dozen cupcakes and let me just say, WOW! Beautiful and so delicious!
