Delicious Ramen. A must go to hot spot in Bend. The portions are just right, leaving you feeling full and satisfied. The flavors... are robust but not too complex. There is only one veggie option with a mushroom base, all other ramens are pork based. You orderthe base ramen which includes noodles, meat or mushrooms and veggies, then you add additional toppings like egg, nori etc whichcan get pricey fast. They have buns too that are pork, chicken, or mushroom. Biggest downside of this location is there isALWAYS a wait. So go early or expect an 1-2hour wait (dine-in or takeout). As an Asian, I am so relieved to have a hot hearty bowl of ramen in such cooling weather. I wasn't expecting much but oh WOW!... The broth was so satisfying and the ramen was in fact authentic and very flavourful!!! But I was most impressed by the charsiewpork! charred crispy on the outside but still tender and yummy!!! The broth was fantastic (could be a tad hotter)...the service was exceptional. During such hard times for the service industry... we were blown away by how friendly and accommodating the staff were. I got back into line (out the door) to order a beer andsteamed buns when a staff member walked up to me and said he can add them to my order that was already closed out...saving methe wait...incredible. Visited this place over the Labor Day Weekend and had the delicious vegan ramen and the steamed buns with mushrooms. The place... was an absolute delight and certainly not let down. The broth was rich and spicy! The crispy mushrooms and the buns with theperfect combination of sauce made it easy to slurp down one?s throat. Really yummy ramen but don?t ask for any customizations (bean sprouts on side or sauce on the side) because they won?t do it... properly. Very loud music and bussed my own table. Overall pretty good food and lively atmosphere. Workers were all nice. I dosuggest the spicy miso ramen, very good. Rice bowls aren?t really worth it, little too much rice for my liking.
