I tried Parilla for the first time for takeout. They had lots of veg options and the staff was really nice. It came out to $15... plus tip but it definitely didn?t taste like a $17 vegetarian lunch. I?d say it was ok tasting but definitely not great. Iprobably won?t try it again. Way overpriced, even for Bend. They also ask for gratuity which is awkward. Read more
The food is still really good with quality ingredients. However, I stopped going for a while when they changed it so you can?t... go down the line and pick your salsa, or have other options, ask questions and watch them make it. It was fun to watch themmake it and now something is lost as you wait for them to deliver the burrito you ordered and walked away. I thought it was justa pandemic change but looks like it?s permanent. The employees were more fun and the overall vibe was better before. Not a fan of the new ordering process. Walking down the line helped me make the best fish tacos on the planet. Now you preorder... and wait for your food. Look, I can't remember my order, I need the person behind the counter to walk me through it Subwaystyle. This pre order system made me forget to add and remove things to my tacos making them not amazing. Also, the location ofwhere you place the order is in a bad spot. As I'm trying to order and pay. I'm also dodging the person running food out of thekitchen. Makes you feel rushed and in the way. Parrilla has always been a 10 out of 10... But these changes made my ratingdrop. Read more
I ordered a standard carnitas burrito, it was tightly wrapped and very large. Everything inside was cold, the guy at the counter... was super apologetic and made another. He said this one is piping hot be careful, it was a little warmer than the last one butstill cold. Hungry so I ate it. The medium salsa needed salt to give it any flavor, salt? The best fish tacos I have ever experienced. Crisp tempura and soft inside loaded with slaw, corn and dressed with a sauce that... has the perfect amount of tanginess with a hint of a kick. The hostess and wait staff were super friendly and amazing service! Read more
