This was our first eating experience at Pine Tavern. We will be back! Our server, Ashley, was very kind and helpful. The food... was delicious! I especially love the scones and honey butter they bring out in the beginning! My favorite part was the ambience. If you are able to sit on the patio, it is beautiful! Read more

This iconic Bend Restaurant has been around for over a 100 years! It is famous for its beautiful river views and 2 pontarosa... trees growing in the middle of the restaurant. The food was good as was the service. It's a great place to come for just a quicklunch or a special occasion. They have a bar area as well which is much more casual and and a fun place to meet friends.. Theyhave a big Outdoor patio full of trees and flowers with a river view that is nice to enjoy when the weather permits. Read more

Great place with local history. Several signed photos through out from famous people Went here for a work lunch with customers.... We chose seating in the back with a great view of Mirror Pond Two of us ordered fish n chips. It was one massive center cutAlaskan Cod with fries. Undoubtedly some of the best fish n chips I have ever had.. and I grew up in Alaska. The rest orderedpulled pork sandwiches and my colleague ordered a steak salad. The beef was grilled to a perfect medium rare. Everyone enjoyedtheir lunch choices Wait staff were polite, attentive with a friendly smile I’ve stopped here several times over the last 17years. They never disappoint Read more

10 STARS! (11/29/2021) What a find. Historic building, beyond excellent service, and the food is spectacular. AND THE PRICES,... WOW! We were in town to see one of our favorite artists (Gregory Alan Isakov) at The Tower Theater and fell upon the PineTavern, well weren't we fortunate. We had the Happy Hour Tavern Burger (holy COW what a burger for $8.95, it's a beautifulburger, incredibly tasty and cooked perfectly), the Parmesan Garlic Truffle Fries (like the burger they were terrific, TONS ofgarlic so beware and VERY sharable), and last but not least the Chicken Quesadilla (only suggestion here would be the chickencould have been slightly more moist). The bartender took EXCELLENT care of us (sorry but I did not get his name) and theatmosphere within the space was beyond compare. If we lived in Bend I could see us visiting the Pine Tavern 2-3 times a month,EASY! Read more

Found myself needing dinner in Bend with my mom and brother, and we decided to check this place out. We were able to walk right... in and were given the option of where to sit inside. I got their steak frites, which upon googling I found out is typicallysteak and fries, and how can that ever be bad?? My brother got one of their specials for the day, prime rib, and my mom got thechicken Marsala. The food was all phenomenal. My dish was indeed steak and fries. Fries were crispy and seasoned, steak wascooked perfectly. It’s been a few weeks now and I’m still thinking about that steak. I’ll definitely be coming back thenext time I’m in Bend. Read more
