The food was good (liked the Brie platter and the spaghetti carbonara and the lamb osso bucco). The meatball appetizer was just... so-so, and the complimentary bread was mid. We snuck in without a reso on a Tuesday, so we had the table by the door/bar, notthe best for ambiance but cozy. Honestly, the worst part about it was our server, who seemed to also be the bartender, Twila.She was not very professional, forgot that we hadn’t ordered entrees (asked to take our menus from us after we got the apps, Iwas like oh we were gonna order more!), didn’t ask us if we wanted more drinks, etc. not the worst service but kind of thebare minimum. We left full tho and enjoyed our meal, but I probably won’t return of my own volition. Read more

Wonderful experience!!! Dinner and dessert were amazing. Nothing bad to say. Some of the best Italian food I've had in a while... at a restaurant. This is now my top Italian restaurant in Bend for overall taste, drinks, service, elbow room, intimate dining,and experience. Had the spaghetti carbonara, husband had the meatballs and scallops (two different apps) for his entree. The scallops melted in... your mouth, the meatballs were delicious and not heavy with fennel like you often find. Our waitress Lily, was super helpful andattentive; even with an entire restaurant to take care of. Well done Salute! Read more
First experience at Salute Italian restaurant in Bend. Worth mentioning, the Chef really knows how to prepare dishes to the... delight of your taste buds. The Fillet Mignon was seasoned and cooked perfectly. High quality meat full of flavor andsmooth/soft to the tongue. Asparagus was perfectly cooked and had a pleasant smoked flavor. The Chicken Alfredo had theperfect balance of cream and noodle texture. The chicken was tender and rich in flavor. The prawn salad was delicious. Onenote to the owners... we were delighted to see what appeared to be perfectly cooked scallops for our appetizer. Perfectlycooked indeed the scallops were. But the flavor was overly fishy, perhaps the result of a lower grade of scallop? We suggestusing the highest grade/quality of scallops to match the preparation skills of your chef. All in all, a great Italianexperience. We highly recommend this restaurant. Read more
This little restaurant is top notch! We showed up for an early dinner and they were able to slip us in without a reservation... fortunately. From the get go, the server was very nice and helpful. The Caesar salad was SO delicious and set the bar prettyhigh immediately. The chicken parm was perfectly done, my wife's ravioli were fantastic as well. Don't sleep on their dessertseither! Read more

Excellent place with a very attentive staff, great food and drinks. Definitely a date place with a terrific atmosphere and a... great ambiance. You will want to make reservations on the weekend to get a table or the wait could be long but they do have asmall bar area you can wait in or dine at as well. Excellent selection from Italian cuisines, everything seems to be madefresh. Overall, great experience if your looking for great food and service in Bend.
