This place is quite the experience. You can feel the passion and sense the incredible amount of thought that goes into this... place, they left no stone unturned. It's a wonderful place to bring the family to and enjoy a good breakfast or lunch. Besidesthe amazing pastries, he salada and sandwiches are a must try! Coffee is also wonderful, great quality roasts that you cantaste. My kids got hot chocolate and chocolate milk, both well balanced without being overly sweet. This place is fantastic. All types of breads are wonderful. One can taste the high quality ingredients used and the skill level... of the bakers. The food is amazing. This One House Bakery located in downtown of Benicia is a must stop visit if you ever in Benicia. What I love is there croissant... egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Croissant is so buttery savory with melted cheese over thick eggs that will melt right inyour mouth-yum-yum. Love their beautiful charming patio right outside in the back with a upstair and downstair sitting area. Ifyou do go got to sit outside can't just stop and go enjoy the moment with outdoor nature. I really don't get the appeal of this place. Maybe it's the great location and ambiance. It's certainly not the food. We've... given One House multiple chances to win us over, but the food continues to be quite bad. Today was an epic fail. We got twosalads. One salad had what appeared to be burnt squash chips. I'm not talking a little over roasted. I'm talking actually burntto the point of charcoal. Absolutely nasty. Even our dogs wouldn't eat them. This isn't the first time we've had food issues.It is the last. We wont be going back. Read more
