The food and service here are great but we just watched a manager berate a line cook for being tired in front of the whole staff... and restaurant. The staff and restaurant were silent, bad vibes all around. Punish in private, praise in public. My sandwichwas delicious but I hate to think that the young adult making my food has endure toxic working conditions and publichumiliation. Read more

Normally a very good eating establishment, recently it seems they've hired an older man who is very rude. I came to pick up my... order like I normally do, stood in front of the pick up window and both the managing woman and the young man they had puttingorders up saw me but refused to ask what my name was for pickup. I then went to check for my food since I was there for a fewminutes like other people do when they come get their food and this older gentleman ran over and called me "chief" saying lemmesee your phone. He wanted me to prove that it was me grabbing my food, if the food isn't available for me to grab it, it shouldnot be available on the counter. So after he snatched my food away and was corrected by staff about the placement of door dashfood he finally gave me my order after proving it was mine. Will not be coming back he again for some time after this verydisrespectful on the day after Thanksgiving. I even tried to show him my ID, but he refused. *EDIT: I was informed that that wasmost likely the owner who is there on occasion and is known for being rude. The food is extremely good. Everything we've ordered has been outstanding. The employees are very friendly and the service is... quick and efficient. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try ASAP! THIS PLACE IS A GEM!!! Finally stopped in here after driving passed and... seeing it for years. SMH. I?m so mad at myself that it took me this long to stop in! I could of been enjoying this amazing foodfor years! I had the seafood gumbo and pork roll egg and cheese on an everything bagel. AMAZING! Broccoli cheddar soup is WOW Vivid flavor with fresh broccoli The chocolate chip bagel kind of confused me because it didn?t... taste like there were chocolate chips, but it was still good lol Finally I got the mandarin salad with chicken added.
