Anytime that we go to Green St Grille the food is very good and reasonable. Would highly recommend the baked cookie dessert. ... Like most restaurants these days they are running short-staffed. That being said, they were very accommodating and dideverything possible to keep us informed when our food would be ready. Have come here since it opened. I usually go in for a drink at the bar. There is a large amount of space for it's size and it... feels very rustic but very casual. I was a vegan at the time and they didn't have very many options. I went with... Sweetpotatoes? I don't remember but I do know it was delicious. My husband and I found this place after dropping our daughter off at O?Hare. It was a short drive from the airport. But you... would never know. It is a very quiet and clean beautiful town. The restaurant is modern, clean and inviting. We had verycomfortable seating after a long drive. Our waitress was very kind and enjoyable. She was always checking on us. I got chickenRomano. Chicken was fried nice and crispy. The sauce was delicious! Noodles were cooked perfectly. My husband got the fish andchips. They came out piping hot and flaky. Nice atmosphere. Terrible experience to start my first vist to my local eatery the evening started with I had to ask where is our soup was ,when... I asked Ashley her response was now about 10 minutes later she brought are soup & salad and within 5 minutes are dinners arrived! But hold on this gets better my wife finds a piece of steel reflecting in her spaghetti so I take the piece to management andI'm told yeah we use that to clean the equipment like I don't know what it is & there won't be a charge for the meal wow thanks!Then I sit down to my Fish & chips to realize I'm eating frozen fish out of a box ???? it's not like someone battered the fishby hand, to end the first & last time I'll eat at this place I was offered free dessert ????????????????
