This review based on it being a chain BBQ restaurant. Understanding that this is not gourmet competition BBQ, this is actually a... great place. If you are familiar with Soulmans or Spring Creek BBQ in Texas, you'll know where this place ranks. I had the DirtyDeed which came with Pulled Pork, pork ribs and Sausage for the meats and I chose coleslaw and beans for the sides. There aresome really great flavors in everything I had. The beans were awesome and the coleslaw was probably some of the best I've hadfrom a BBQ place. The ribs were just a little dry for my liking but they had good flavor as well. Sausage was just standardsausage and the piled pork didn't have to have sauce if you didn't want it. They had three different sauces to try and each weregreat in their own right. This was our 1st visit, and we will be back! The ribs were fall off the bone good, and I recommend the Carolina sauce. We also... had the cheeseburger, chicken salad, mashed potatoes, potato salad, and side salads. Everything was well portioned anddelicious. Brian our server was attentive and polite. This was my first time to dine at the RibCrib BBQ. I do try a lot of BBQ restaurants, and I am pretty picky about ribs. I... ordered the half rack with house original dry rub along with Mac and cheese and Fried Okra for the sides. The ribs were cookedto perfection in my opinion. They had a good bite, but were very juicy and tender. The flavor of the rub was well balanced withthe smoke for a very savory taste. The sides were also great. Our server was fantastic as well. We ordered the Club, Ribs, loaded cheese fries and kids Chicken strips. All the food was excellent except the corn on the cob... wasn't fresh. This is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. Service was great, fast waitress was friendly. Read more
We love a place that is consistently good! Every time we have gone we have had good service, a calm relaxing atmosphere and good... portions. I think the pricing is fair for the times and you definitely wont leave hungry. We also love that we get a choice of3 sauces that are readily available on the table. I prefer to mix the Carolina sauce with the spicy and my husband loves thespicy and original. Best of all we get to determine how much sauce we want. The fried pickles are some of best and the ribs arevery tender, smokey and meaty. My husband loves the Flying Pig combo. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you choose.
