Food isn?t that great but service was on point. The margarita flight almost killed me.

Upon walking in Country music was blaring and I noticed all previous staff was gone. Next the salsa was different, not good.... Tomato sauce out of a can. I found out the place had been sold to new owners. Then my tacos came plain, no ingredients withWalmart type pico de gallo on the side. The waitress was great but this is not Mexican, Tex Mex and I doubt the new cooks,owners or managers have any Mexican food knowledge whatsoever ever I was beyond disappointed. 2 stars only because the waitresswas fabulous and the food was hot but meal was terrible. I had no salsa for my tacos because one was tomato sauce literally andthe other which looked good was very very spicy ???? I asked for onion and cilantro for my tacos and only got onion. 2nd time here! Masks not required, employees was wearing them. We came on a Sunday around 4 pm and it wasn't busy. After being... sat down the waitress informed us they didn't have any sodas. They just had tea, Mexican bottle soda, water, and alcohol. Foodwas just ok. The rice was bland, tacos was ok, and the fries could of been cooked longer. :( Hopefully they was just having abad night. Daiquiri was watered down and awful, chips were bad, cheese sauce on my chicken was thin and tasteless, and service was bad.... Pass up this place and go to El Paisanos in Carbondale instead. Read more
